Ciaté Corrupted Neon Manicure Kit Review {with four giveaway winners! ARV $25}

Ready for something fun?! UK-based nail brand Ciaté debuted the Corrupted Neon Manicure Collection recently. I honestly had never heard of Ciaté before, but after looking at the pictures, I was dying to see this polish in action. I invited my sister {an unapologetic polish addict} over to try them out. I love doing nails with her!

About Ciaté:

Ciaté Caviar After reading up on Ciaté, I realized I *have* seen some of their polishes – all over Pinterest. Namely the Caviar Manicure – love! Ciaté, which was founded by celeb nail artist Charlotte Knight, stands for Coulour, Innovation, Aspiration, Trend, and Extraordinary. Judging by the collections, I’d say that is an incredibly accurate description. I also have to mention that Ciaté paint pots are formulated without toluene, formaldehyde, and phthalates.

Corrupted Neon Manicure Collection

There are four corrupted color kit options; Club Tropicana {orange}, Shout Out {pink}, and the two I chose; Foam Party {blue} and Mega Foam {yellow}.

Kit Contents:

Each kit contains the Ciaté Matte Neon Paint Pot, Ciaté Loose Neon Glitter, Ciaté Mini Corrupted UV Top Coat, and of course a helpful step-by-step booklet. My sister {smartly} applied basecoat before she arrived, so her nails were prepped and ready to be corrupted! The following is a blend of the booklet’s instructions and my tips:

Step One: Matte Neon.
Paint two thick coats of the matte neon Paint Pot on your nails for full coverage. She let the first coat dry before applying the second, but don’t let the second coat dry! Work nail by nail when applying the second coat because…

Step Two: Caviar Pearls Glitter.
You will need to sprinkle the loose glitter over the wet polish. To avoid a mess, I laid a piece of construction paper down to catch the glitter. This also let me pour it back into the container later. Give your finger a tap to get rid of any excess glitter. Let dry completely.

Step Three: UV Topcoat
Apply the Corrupted Neon topcoat to dry nails. This clear UV topcoat will work on just the matte neon polish or the glittered finish. So play with it, maybe do a glittered accent nail or try just doing glittered tips? Let the topcoat dry completely and hold them up to a black light {they also work like glow in the dark}!

radiant under blacklight – oooh!

This polish is crazy cool. My sister and I both loved the look of the raw glitter, as-is without the topcoat. It has a funky textured look, like she dipped her fingers in colored sugar. There is no need to seal with the topcoat, but it gives an entirely different look! Once the UV topcoat is applied, the texture is slicked back and nails are ready to glow.
