You may already know how much of a fan I am of both T.J. Maxx and Marshall’s. I am lucky enough to have both of these stores only about five minutes away from me. I recently went shopping at T.J. Maxx to check out their Spring must-have items, and I came home with three shirts!
This year customers turned budget savvy, finding that value was more than just price, but actually a combination of on-trend trend fashion, quality AND price. With the same merchandise at 60% less than department stores, customers everywhere can live the designer life without designer prices. Now, consumers can indulge in spring’s hottest trends without sacrificing quality or overspending.
As I wandered around the store, I found exactly what I wanted immediately. I had in my mind the type of Spring shirts I wanted – and was so happy when two of them were on the first rack I looked on. The selection of Spring clothing was colorful and cheerful, and I was having a blast. I moved down a few racks and found the third shirt – a light blue dressy tank.
T.J. Maxx and Marshall’s carry the same in-season and on-trend as department and specialty stores, but for a lot less! I am always amazed at their prices. Two of the shirts I bought were only $14.99 each (compared to $30.00 at a department store). They had really cute shoes too, and again the prices were so low. For me, I would prefer get several outfits here, rather than one outfit for the same price at a department store. It just makes sense.

If you haven’t checked out their home decor – you definitely want to! The last time I was at Marshall’s, I found a framed print (matted too!) for $6.00. I proudly hung it in my bathroom and it was perfect! The Marshall’s store near our house is fairly new, and it is huge. I am so impressed and excited each time I set foot in the store.

I visit TJMaxx frequently – it is probably my favorite store. My most recent purchase was a pair of Purdue sweatpants for my husband, regularly $16.99, clearanced for end of season for $10. I always find great buys there. (Unfortunately, the nearest Marshall's is about 45 minutes away for me, whereas TJMaxx is only 15 minutes away.)

Marshalls has a great shoe department. I bought a pair of cute shoes there a couple of weeks ago.
Oh my gosh, I haven't been in either store in years! I bought almost all my "going to college" clothes at TJMaxx…but that was more than 20 years ago! There's a Marshalls right down the street, but I haven't been there in the 2.5 years that we've lived here. Time for me to go shopping!

It's been a while, but last fall I went to TJMaxx and found a metal shower caddy for $6. The same thing is over $15 elsewhere. I'll be making another visit soon to buy summer clothes, they always have the best styles and prices.
