Stampin’ Up Project Life Review

Scrapbooking is one of my many hobbies. I keep scrapbooks for special occasions, everyday life, baby books, and even books of photos that I find which are completely unrelated to each other but I want to look back on. I’ve taken a few classes but I’m not entirely sure how skilled I am in that department. I feel like with the Project Life package I received from Stampin’ Up, it’s all done for me!

Stampin’ Up sells beautiful scrapbooking tools and kits but Project Life is absolutely my favorite. It’s tough to find time to scrapbook within the past several years, between kids and organizing and now blogging. Project Life by Stampin’ Up let’s you have a gorgeous display of memories but without taking up all of that time! I received the:

· Seasonal Snapshot Project Life card collection
· Seasonal Snapshot Project Life Accessory Pack
· Project Life Holiday Cheer stamp set
· Project Life Day to Day stamp set
· Black Project Life 12” x 12” Album
· Variety Pack 12” x 12” Project Life Photo Pocket Pages
· Project Life Journaling Pens
· Ink pads in the following colors: Basic Black; Hello Honey; Old Olive; Real Red; Sahara Sand; Tangerine Tango

The cards in the Project Life accessory pack are pre-designed (and gorgeous!), ready to slide into the photo pocket pages. The journaling pens write beautifully and you can use them to create little notes, add details and captions, whatever you like! The stamps give such a pristine, clean look too. You add your photographs to these pages and cards, including little stickers and accessories, and your scrapbook looks professional and as if you’d just spent hours creating it!

The Seasonal Snapshot package includes the best fall and winter occasions, like back-to-school and Christmas! I decided to start with the back-to-school section because I fell in love with the cards where you could detail the first day of school to include the child’s age and favorite subject. The little pencil and paper stickers and the round embellishments are just the perfect touch to make it look like I put in more effort than I did! (Haha!)

That truly is the best part, this scrapbook page already looks so much more organized than any of those that I’ve done in the past. The pieces of my Stampin’ Up Project Life kit are so beautiful that I struggled to use them at all because, well, then I’d have no more. There are a lot of years of my life left and I imagine I’ll never have more time than I do now but I’ll always have a strong desire to catalog my memories in a beautiful way so I’m extremely excited that I can now look to Stampin’ Up for all of my quick, pretty scrapbooking needs!

I actually took my cute little card collection with me to a cookie swap so that I could use the pens and the stamps and someone wanted to use my cards to write her recipe on (another thing they’d be great for!). I do try to teach my children to share but I just couldn’t! The friend was so enamored with the cards but as she flipped through them, awing over each one, I finally spoke up and said, “I know and I’m sorry but they are just too pretty to share! They’re for my scrapbooking collection! They’ll be giving away some on the blog though, so keep your eye out.”

Stampin’ Up Project Life seems like the absolute PERFECT idea for a busy mom like me who also wants to create lovely albums of pictures to look back on. I know that my mom’s photo albums are just that, albums full of photos, but this is exactly what I need in my life and I had no idea that it could be done! I just kept procrastinating and insisting that someday I’d make time to individually cut out small papers, shop around for the right stamps and stickers, and somehow manage a scrapbook of my own. I’m so thankful that Project Life was a step ahead of my needs! I highly recommend the whole Stampin’ Up Project Life kit and caboodle, HIGHLY recommend.
