Disclosure review
I have a confession – I used to secretly judge people whose houses were not spotless clean, thinking “how hard can it be to keep your furniture, appliances, etc. clean?”  However, once I had children of my own, I admitted that I was wrong for judging as I finally understood how difficult it can be to keep things perfectly clean with children around.  Their dirty little hands get everywhere and on everything, they spill more than I could have ever imagined, and sometimes I feel like I am wasting my time cleaning up after them, because they will just make things dirty or messy again soon after.

303Brand
With the line of 303 Products cleaners, protectants, and fabric guards, I have the chance to make our things looking nice again and keep them looking that way, even when my girls do their best to dirty things up.  I tried out three of the 303 Products – 303 Multi-Surface Cleaner, 303 Spot Remover, and 303 Fabric Guard.

I think the 303 Multi-Surface Cleaner will replace all of those different cleaners I have for different surfaces.  It works on both hard surfaces (like countertops) and soft surfaces and fabrics.  We have old Formica countertops in our kitchen that tend to get gunky, especially around its edges and near the stove where grease can splatter while cooking.  Even though we wipe the counters down every day, they do not really get clean without a strong cleaner and a little scrubbing.  I sprayed the countertops with the 303 Multi-Surface Cleaner, used a scrub brush on the worst parts, and wiped them clean with a damp cloth.  The greasy gunk came off easily, and there was no residue left behind.  I think a weekly clean with the 303 Multi-Surface Cleaner will keep them looking better than they ever have.

The 303 Spot Remover is designed to remove stains on carpet and upholstery, which we deal with often.  I was excited to try the 303 Spot Remover on some outdoor chair cushions that got really dirty at my oldest daughter’s birthday party.  There were some huge stains on the cushions, and I thought for sure they would never be clean again as bad as they were and since it has been a couple of months since her party.  I sprayed the entire cushion (even where it was not stained), rubbed it with a clean damp cloth, and waited for it to dry.  To my delight, the stains came right out!  After they were dry, I sprayed them with the 303 Fabric Guard to keep them protected in the future, especially since we often use the chairs outside.spot

I love the feeling of having a clean home and furniture.  How obsessive are you when it comes to cleaning and staying clean?  You can take a fun quiz from 303 Products and find out!  I scored 190/303, which means I am “dangerously easy going.”  I would say that I was not that way before having children, so maybe I have surrendered to the inevitable and realized that messes are going to happen with children and things won’t stay clean like I want.  At least with 303 Products, I have the ability to clean up those messes left by my children and I don’t have to worry about them or obsess about it anymore.

303 Products are made by Gold Eagle and are available at certain stores and online retailers – find one near you!  Even though I have learned to accept that kids will be kids (messes and all), I recommend 303 Products for dealing with all those messes that children leave behind.

  1. My daughter and son get the dishes, sink and the table dirty from cooking. They also leave the bathrooms dirty!

  2. All of these products sound so awesome! I would love to try them! My kids get the carpet dirty and also the walls! The counters are always obviously dirty during cooking times!!

  3. The microwave, I have two teenagers who do not know what a plate or paper towel is . I do not know how many time I have scrubbed splatters and melted hot pocket cheese out of the microwave. I think they just like hearing the lectures about it every time.

  4. My children and my dog get my carpet messy the most. They drag in the mud and dirt. They also tend to dirty up the bathroom, mainly the sink. Thanks.

  5. I think the better question is what do they NOT get dirty! They tend to drag dirt from the backyard into our living room.

  6. My children get everything dirty, they have a tendency to forget to take off their shoes before coming into the house.

  7. It’s not kids, it’s my brother. Everything he touches, he knocks over. One the floor, the furniture…I feel like I have to follow him around with a mop and a bottle of cleanser. Everything! (I will spare you a description of his bathroom).

  8. What do kids NOT get dirty?! The walls and appliances are the worst in our house. Floors get really dirty since we live in the country by a lake.

  9. They get the carpets really messy as well as the couch.

Thank you for the chance to win this!

  10. Although we don’t have children, we do manage to get our house dirty all on our own, although the dog contributes to the mess, too. The worst is probably the kitchen, especially the floor.

  11. My kids get the floors in house a mess on a daily basis. They are also hard on socks and shoes.

  12. the carpets by spilling stuff on them.and the kitchen floor by dropping food on it or coming in from the backyard bringing dirt in

  13. Let’s see…what don’t they get dirty? LOL My big issues right now are them eating on the living room furniture and a few days ago they spilled grape juice on my new area rug! On top of that…my pure white towels are looking nasty b/c they keep dragging them outside to the pool. Ugh

  14. Can I answer… everything! Seriously the bathrooms, doors, and floors always seem dirty when kids are in the house.

  15. I don’t have children, but I might as well because the man of the house is always spilling his salsa on the carpet and not seeming to notice!

  16. Our stainless appliances! They are covered in spots and finger/hand prints! And sometimes foot prints :/

  17. What DON’T they get dirty??? The thing that gets me is the way they just HAVE to touch the chair backs when they eat? I mean.. WHAT THE HECK.. what could possibly make them do that? You have to clean ALL the chairs after a meal. I hate it purely hate it.

  18. Pretty much everything 🙂 But especially the main entryway, where the track in mud from outside and sometimes spill food and drink when they’re rushing in.

  19. I agree with a previous poster, what DON’T they get dirty! But my daughter (and I) survived and now she’s off at college and has to do her own cleaning!

  20. My grandchildren get their hands on the wall as they go up and down the stairs. I’m constantly wiping the walls. The glass doors to the deck are frequently full of nose prints and fingerprints as they look out to see what is happening.

  21. I dont have children. If I did I think they would get the kitchen dirty. Because we would eat there 3 times as day
and food and children and I think that would be a recipe for a mess.

  22. OMG I can only pick ONE?

Ummm probably their rooms or the living room, OR the kitchen..

    everywhere!

  23. What do your children get messy or dirty in your house?

i dont have children, but i got a few floors dirty in my day thanks

  24. My kids get my rugs, hardwood floor and the tables in the house. Oh and can’t forget their rooms.

  25. from my experience, i would say…..everything… no floor, wall, bathtub, sink, rug, upholstery etc. is safe… 🙂

  26. Everything!!!! The biggest things are the carpet and the bar. Our carpet is just terrible. I hate for people to see it. The bar is the catch all in our house. Everything goes there and no body puts anything up. It drives me crazy. Thank you!

  27. I’d like the answer to be “everything,” but the real mess area is her playroom. Just messy.

  28. The kids are grown and out of the house, but that doesn’t keep it from getting dirty. The carpets and kitchen counters need constant attention.

  29. I don’t have children but I do have a dog and he sometimes makes a mess around his dog bowl that I need to clean up.

  30. While my son was growing-up, it was the kitchen floor and the entrance of the front door. Messy! Thank-you. 🙂

  31. everything from wall switches to the walls -why do they have to take their hands and run their hands across the walls while going down the hall way the sofas the end tables please use the coasters kids and of course the floors carpets and furniture

  32. The floors in my house get the messiest. Hubby and son are always tracking dirty in, plus, they are always spilling or dripping things in the kitchen. 🙂

  33. I don’t have children but my boyfriend acts like one sometimes…hahaha. I’d say the kitchen gets the worst…

  34. My kids get the bathroom and their rooms messy! It’s a never ending struggle to keep both rooms clean.

  35. Everything gets dirty! i find myself cleaning 3-4 times a day. With 5 kids and two pets it’s a never ending story. TY for the giveaway.

  36. The chocolate brown living room sectional!! It’s so soft and comfy – my daughter loves to hang out there, and that’s ok with me! 🙂 She does everything there – her homework, reading, crafts, TV, snacks, etc. The dark fabric always has little remnants of her last project! LOL! We spend a lot of time in the living room as a family, so it always looks lived in, for sure! 🙂 My daughter’s fave books are always stacked on the sectional too…she loves reading manga! Thanks for this contest and for reading my post! 🙂

  37. Living on a ranch, everything gets terribly dirty. The carpet and furniture alike…o course no wiping their feet off thoroughly does not help.

  38. The hardwood floors are either dusty or tracked with footprints. The carpet seems never clean and the spills are constant. I am always looking for new products to get carpet stains out.

  39. They mess up the whole house really. My carpets, furniture, bathroom, kitchen and living room.

  40. The top of my counters when we cook together or she decides to make breakfast without me. She says the counter top is her pirate ship so the deck of her ship is Arrr matey messy!

  41. The bathroom floor and sink! When they come in from outside, the first thing they do is run to the bathroom to wash up. I am grateful for that, but they always leave such a mess!

  42. My walls, floors, appliances, toilets, mirrors, my clothes, their clothes their siblings….how much space do I get here. I could go on forever. In all honesty, the kids make messes, it’s what’s inevitably going to happen, the helpful point of this blog was to help us clean them up.

  43. A better question would be what don’t they get messy, the list would be much much shorter.

  44. The areas the grandkids get messy has changed over the years. When they were little it was pretty much everywhere in the house. Now the teenage girl and the pre-teen concentrate on their bathroom and their two bedrooms.
The teenage boy pretty much confines his mess to his own room….thank goodness!
Wait! I forgot the kitchen with the refrigerator door and microwave opening and closing so much.
Instead of sending out an SOS….I need 303’s help.

  45. The question should be what don’t the kids get dirty that would be easier to answer. But generally anything they touch carpet, floors walls anything!

  46. The carpet is the worst. But they are not partial to the carpet. They make a mess wherever they are. It’s a constant battle.

  47. Her ROOM! My daughter is almost 14 so she don’t make to many messes, but her room omg it is a nightmare.

  48. No kids, but my cat like to dig in my flower pots and sometimes turns them over on the rug.
    Thanks for the contest.

  49. My grand kids are making the messes right behind me. I’m always having to repeat the completed chores.

  50. The bathroom counter is a disater area after they have brushed thier teeth! Also the dinning room table for some reason they think its perfect for thier arts and crafts!

  51. My child is now old enough to help with clean up! Our biggest issue is my dog shedding everywhere and anywhere!

  52. Don’t know what it is about my kitchen, but that is where the family gathers. My floors are in constent need of cleaning !!

  53. The doors, especially the screen doors will not stay clean! The fridge handle, front of the microwave, island, and kitchen floor get messy quickly, too.

  54. I think that just about anything they touch they get dirty, They especially get the floor, glass on the windows and door and furniture dirty.

  55. Thank You for the giveaway… an area rug in the family room seems to take the brunt of our kids when it comes to dirt, spills, stains, etc.

  56. mine are hard on two rooms the living room and the kitchen, their right together and they have both rooms dirty

  57. Mine are especially hard on the kitchen -floors, counters, even leaving handprints all over the refrigerator door and walls.
