Taking care of yourself is soooo important!  Busy moms, whether working outside the home, or staying at home with the kiddos, we all need a break!

Jen and Barb, Mom Life is a really neat website that is chock full of information and fun videos about, well, moms and family.  I have been having a blast watching their no-nonsense videos about family vacations, how to get kids to brush their teeth, back to school, picky eaters and many, many more.   The site is run by Jen and Barb – two very practical women who are kind of like “Dear Abby”.   They offer advice to moms, and provide tips for moms and families.

So back to my original question – what do you do for “me time”? When is the last time you have done something adventurous, or even alone?  We tend to get so caught up in caring for our family that we overlook one important thing – that in addition to being moms, we are still people.  People with feelings and identities.

Although I am not an incredibly adventurous person, I do enjoy taking weekend trips.  That is the ultimate “me” time (for me!). Whether you like to sky dive, ride roller coasters, water ski – whatever it is, make sure you take the time to do it.  Of course, you might even try something new – something you have never done before.  It might even make you feel young and carefree for a bit!
