When I wrote a Grocery Outlet review previously, I mentioned how impressed I was with the prices and selection of items to choose from. At the time of that review, I wasn’t even thinking about holiday shopping, but now I have an even bigger appreciation for Grocery Outlet and their bargains!
See the photo above? It is a basket full of goodies – all from Grocery Outlet. When it comes to gift giving during the holidays, gift baskets are a great way to put together all of the recipient’s favorite things. Gift baskets are often less expensive than other gifts, yet they bring so much joy. When the products for the gift basket are purchased at Grocery Outlet, you can save a huge amount of money (about 50% less than at other stores!).
I received a few items from Grocery Outlet so I could share some pretty neat information with you. Of course the items I received are just a small sampling of all that are available at Grocery Outlet for the holidays (and year round). At a regular store, all of the above items would cost around $35.94, but at Grocery Outlet, the total price is only $17.94! For under $100, you could create five personalized gift baskets!

The La Plaza Red Table wine {pictured above} sells for $7.99 at other stores – what a huge difference! For $2.99 each, you could buy a whole lot of wine!

Burt’s Bees is one of my favorite brands. Finding low prices on Burt’s Bees products is a welcome bonus. These retail at other stores for $9.99. That is over a 50% savings!

The Spekulatius German Spice Cookies are $2.99 at other retailers. I also received Stash Chai Spice Tea (yum!). This, too, is only $1.99 at Grocery Outlet (and $2.99 at other retailers).
I love putting together themed gift baskets, whether I create a food/gourmet basket, a beauty basket, or anything else, my recipient is always so happy that I put time and effort into something so personal. Thank you Grocery Outlet for making this so easy!
Grocery Outlet has also put together some helpful tips for the holiday season…they call it “The Season of Sanity”! Here are a few tips:
- Start prepping your holiday meals as much as a week ahead. Cranberry Sauce and desserts can be made ahead and frozen.
- Organize your grocery list by department to save time at the store
- Create a holiday Master Planner to keep the essential information (cooking, shopping and other events and tasks) in one safe place.
Make sure you check out Grocery Outlet for your holiday shopping!
