Digital Pet Tag from PetHub Review

Pet Hub

What if you found yourself wandering the streets? Then, suddenly someone walks up to you and scans you. Tada!! You’re home again! Ok, ok I forgot to mention that you are a beloved pet.

Pethub has created a unique way for pets to find their way home. If someone were to run across a lost pet, they would simply use their smartphone, and scan the QR code on the back of the pet’s tag. The person will then be connected with that pet’s profile, allowing them to contact the owners, and it will also provide other valuable information.

Here is what PetHub had to say.

PetHub brings pet tags for cats and dogs into the 21st Smartphone and Web century by adding QR codes, GPS email notifications, shelter alerts, and web profiles to its high-end stylish pet tags to help lost pets get home safer and faster. The digital tags provide immediate, one-scan access to critical information such as emergency contacts, necessary medication, allergies, immunizations, vet and insurance providers, dietary needs, and much more. Pet owners can update the information anytime, anywhere from any browser or mobile device.

PetHub kindly offered me a Digital Pet Tag to review. I was sent the Scull and Crossbones for Riker with a Silver subscription.  Set up was easy, just as simple as registering a warranty for a toy or something. I have never seen an easier website to pay for a purchase. I entered Rikers information and a few photos.  I entered more details like favorite activities, and baby pictures.

It is a good feeling to know that if Riker were ever lost, there would be an easy way for others to help him find his way home. If I found a pet with a PetHub tag I would instantly know the pet was well-loved because someone took the extra steps to protect them. Pethub offers pet tags in various designs and also collars. I would highly recommend the Silver subscription (the medium priced plan). It features an instant GPS location emailed to you when someone scans your pets tag. Other plans available are the  Gold and Bronze plan. Another feature at PetHub is you can search for nearby dog parks, trails, and other pet friendly locations!

You can find more information and order a PetHub tag or collar only at PetHub. The tags cost around $13 and the collars are $26.
