I am pretty sure you have heard about the movie, “Fed Up”, which is coming to theaters today. If you haven’t heard about it yet, please, please read this post and learn all you can about the movie, and its message. It is powerful, and should concern each and every one of us.

This is shocking to me – 95% of Americans will be overweight in two decades. That is a STAGGERING number! We definitely have to take action (and quick) to help our youth (and adults). Could sugar be killing us?
I hope you will go see this movie as soon as possible. Please make sure you take the whole family to see Fed Up, so that when/if you decide to make dietary changes in your household, everyone will know why.

After watching the trailer, I am honestly frightened for my own family, and for everyone else in the nation. We all know how bad sugar is for us, but there is so much more to learn, and that is where “Fed Up” comes in.

About Fed Up:
For the past 30 years, everything we thought we knew about food and exercise is dead wrong. FED UP is the film the food industry doesn’t want you to see. From Katie Couric, Laurie David (Oscar winning producer of AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH) and director Stephanie Soechtig, FED UP will change the way you eat forever. The film opens in theaters across the country on May 9th.
Take the Fed Up Challenge!

The #FedUpMovie team would love for you to join them on May 12th, they go sugar free for 10 days. This is not an easy task, but when you participate, you will be a part of the first steps in fighting this huge public health crisis (the biggest of our time).
You can take the pledge on the Fed Up Challenge website (http://fedupmovie.com/fedupchallenge).
Can I count on you to take the challenge?
This is scary stuff folks. NOW is the time to make the change, and encourage those you love to do the same. I hope you will also encourage those same people to see “Fed Up”, so they will have a clear understanding of this crisis.
Make sure you follow along with #FedUpMovie to see what others are saying. You can also follow @FedUpMovie on Twitter and like the Fed Up movie on Facebook.

Looks like an interesting movie.
I plan to see it. I’d like to be informed about what’s in my food so that I can make better choices.
I would love to see the movie because it sounds like a good movie.
I am, I am always interested in these types of movies.
I’d love to go see this movie. I would hope it would inspire me to make better food choices.
I do not plan on watching it right now, I am full away for the sugar industry and food companies and how they make Americans sick by overloading them with sugar.
I would love to see Fed Up. We stay informed about food issues, but I’m sure there is still more we can learn from the film!
I would like to see it to be be more educated about our food.
Thank you!
i will see the movie. i want to know what corporate america is doing to our food supply and when it comes to the almighty dollar, i know it usually isn’t good. i think so many corporations use us as guinea pigs and the scientific community is just now finding out the long term results of their ‘experiments’ with food additives, gmos, chemical and pharmaceutical additions.
maybe soon we will start seeing food commercials similar to the drug commercials listing possible side effects….scary.
I need to see this movie! I might wait until it comes out on DVD, but see it I will. I know our family eats way too much sugar, but it is really all the “hidden” sweet that scares me. I’ve been trying to get everyone to eat more basics with no additives, and after being a vegetarian for 18 years my daughter is a vegetarian as well, and once a week everyone eats a vegetarian meal for dinner.
I would like to see this movie, it is time to know the truth of what we eat daily.
I would like to see this movie because I love documentaries and also to learn how to make improvements to my diet.
I will go see it. It’s important to me to see that my is eating healthy.
I plan on seeing it! I feel it’s quite important to educated about the foods offered to us and how we can make the best choices.
I have not heard of it until your posting. It looks like an interesting movie. I would like to see.
i am not planning to see the movie only because i don’t normally go to see movies in the theatre
I won’t see it in a theater, but will probably see it eventually. I have seen most of the other food movies and read many books/blogs. The SAD is appalling.
Nerd here. 🙂 I’ve been a fitness/nutrition geek for a long time!
I have been hearing so much about this movie lately. It is a movie I am planning on seeing for sure. I think it sounds very interesting.
I will be seeing this because I think its an important issue that needs to be addressed.
I would love to see this movie to learn more about the terrible things that are being packed into processed foods.
Thanks for the chance to win!

I’m not sure if I’ll see it while it’s in theaters but I do want to watch it. I’m already aware that I eat too much sugar and that sugar is in a lot of foods you wouldn’t expect it to be, but I think I can still learn a lot from the film. I want to take the 10-day challenge.
Yes I am because from what I have seen and read about it, it looks very interesting.
yes, fed up with what is in our food supply — the sugar, the trans fats, the additives, the pesticides. Shouldn’t be that way and bad for all of us!

I would love to see this movie because it gets me motivated to eat healthier and take action!
this looks very interesting. I would love to see this.
Sure, I’d love to view it. I form my own opinions. I do think we eat far too much sugar. We watch what we eat in this household. I make most of my meals completely from scratch. And the funny thing, about sugar in spaghetti sauce- that is the whole secret to MY homemade-everyone-asks for it sauce- Sugar! Without the sugar, it’s just not the same!
I probably will see it but will just wait for it to come out on redbox or netflix. It does look good, but movies out are a very rare occasion for me.
I plan to see it when it becomes available on DVD. I avoid sugar because I’m diabetic.
I will see it. I want to know more about the food I feed my family.
I want to.This sounds really interesting!
I will see this at some point. I started cleaning up our diet some years ago when I saw “Super Size Me” It has been quite a journey. When I decided to remove HFCS and hydrogenated oils from our diet, I was in for a rude awakening. Almost all of the top name brand so called “healthy” foods contain these and many other junk ingredients.
I’ll probably watch it when it’s on tv.
This sounds very interesting. I have no plans to see it but I would like to.
I would love to see it! I think it will be a huge wake-up to Americans that we need to change our lifestyles.
Yes, I Plan On Seeing Fed Up, I Am Very Interest In Improving The Way My Family Eats And Think This Film Will Be Very Helpful.

It seems informative so I plan to see it.
Thanks for the chance to win!
I am not planning to see the movie because I am not interested in this topic for a movie.
I never heard of it but it sounds interesting so I will watch
Nope! I can’t trust a person who produced “An Inconvenient Truth”
I probably will go see it since I like these types of movies
Definitely. I love documentaries about food. So important.
I definitely want to see Fed Up because I want to know why our Food Industry is using so many chemicals.
No i’m not planning on seeing this because i’ve only just heard of this.

When it is available for home rental or on Netflix I will definitely give it a looksie!
I probably will simply because I find the topic interesting and important

I plan on seeing the movie. Knowledge is power!
I will probably see it when it comes to Redbox. The theater is too expensive
I definitely want to see this. I don’t know a lot about added sugar in foods and really need to be more aware of it.
I want to see this and have been planning on cutting sugar out of my diet!
I will probably check it out if it comes out on netflix, I’ve been reading up on sugar and the effects of it and for awhile there was really good about staying away from it, it’s amazing her much better you sleep but less, and more energy too!
I probably won’t see it in theatres (I live in a small town, the closest theatre that would play it is in Tampa) but I will definitely watch it on DVD or Netflix.
I will probably see the movie on DVD!
I probably won;t see it until it is on DVD or netflix. I want to be a little ignorant on what is in my food. I gave up hot dogs/sausage for 10 years when I saw how they were made. LOL
I think I will go see it. I like to be informed.
Thanks for the contest.
I would love to see it because with all the information out there it gets confusing quick!
I will because it’s a topic i’m interested in.
It looks good but I don’t know if I’m willing to pay almost $11 to see it in the theater. Maybe once it hits Redbox.
I don’t get to see many movies in the theater. Just too pricey for a family of 6, but I am really hoping it comes to Redbox. I really think this is a great movie!
I will probably watch it some day but not in the theater.
It sounds interesting – I wouldn’t mind seeing it! Thanks for the giveaway!

Probably wait for it to show up on cable…going TO the theatre is more dangerous than what you eat at the concession stand…
I’d like to see the movie, it looks interesting.
I am definitely planning to see the movie even though it is not scheduled for release in my locale. I do go to the theaters and only purchase a bottle of water to consume during the movie. I consider all fast food and convience foods as poison.
I will see with my kids, it looks informative
I’ll see it when it comes out on DVD. I do like to be informed when making food choices.
I’m a bit scared on what I will see, but yes, I would like to see it to keep informed.
I will not be seeing it until it comes onto Netflix. These types of movies aren’t entertaining to me and while educational I’d prefer to see something entertaining.
Yes, I would love to see it! 🙂
It looks like a great informational movie!
Im fed up with my own eating habits.
I would like to see it for sure.

I’m definitely seeing this in theaters! It addresses as social issue I’m very concerned about and I think I would learn a lot from watching it!
Tell me in a comment, if you are planning on seeing Fed Up, and why or why not.
yeah ill see it..looks fun
I am planning on watching “Fed Up” because I think that food processing and its harmful effects and hidden sugar content are important topics.
Absolutely yes! Nutrition and health are some of my favorite topics and I think corporate accountability needs to play as big of a role as public awareness and education – maybe they go hand in hand and movies like this help bring it around!
Yes I hope to see it!
No, I’m not going to see it. It is just a hype film against the sugar industry to get everyone riled up and garner money. There is nothing wrong with sugar in itself (unless you are diabetic). You just need to train yourself and teach your children not to crave it. Don’t buy sugary things. Don’t use sugary things as a bribe or a reward. Don’t patronize the sugar-laden holidays (Halloween, Easter, Christmas) by buying candy. Control the amount of junk your kids eat at home and they will not develop a sweet tooth.
By the way, you have a link for Sea Salted Chocolate Caramel Popcorn and another for Candy Showers Cookie Bar Recipe on your website—both of which are loaded with sugar. What are you trying to say?
I’m glad a movie like this has come out.
I will watch it when it comes out on video.
I hadn’t heard of it until now. But I would like to see it in theaters now!
I plan on seeing this movie and hope it will make people speak up about what is in your food. I am a diabetic and having all that extra sugar really makes it hard to eat right and control my condition.
I will, but probably not in theaters – more of a video or PPV watch. I’m not a big movie theater person plus doesn’t seem right to eat popcorn and candy and watch this!
I might see it. Seems interesting enough.
