We enjoyed some unseasonably warm weather here in the past week (almost ninety degrees in March!). Although the temperature has gone back down to what is normal for this time of year, I certainly enjoyed the warm days and I am getting excited that summer seems to be right around the corner.
Sonic Drive-In has brought back its
Summer of Shakes promotion with twenty-five delicious Real Ice Cream Shakes to help usher in the summer season. What could be better on a warm day, a hot day, or any day really, than a nice cold tasty ice cream treat?
Sonic Drive-In’s shakes are made with real ice cream and there is a flavor for all tastes. There are the classic favorites (Vanilla, Strawberry, Peanut Butter, Hot Fudge, Chocolate, Fresh Banana, Caramel, and Pineapple), cream pie flavors (Banana Cream Pie, Coconut Cream Pie, and Strawberry Cream Pie), cheesecake flavors (regular Cheesecake, Oreo Cheesecake, and Strawberry Cheesecake), other Oreo flavors (Oreo Caramel, Oreo Chocolate, and Oreo Peanut Butter) and some other interesting combinations (Lemon Pie, Strawberry Banana, Peanut Butter Cookie, Peanut Butter Fudge, Peanut Butter Banana, Chocolate Covered Banana, Chocolate Covered Strawberry, and Jalapeño Chocolate). And as with other Sonic Drive-In items, you can mix flavors for your own delicious blend. All with a cherry on top! With all of these choices, you are sure to find something you enjoy!
We tried the Oreo Cheesecake, Oreo Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter Fudge, and Strawberry Cheesecake. My favorite by far was the Oreo Peanut Butter because it combined two of my favorite things (yum, yum, yum!). There are a lot of flavors left to try, but the good thing is that we have all summer to try them and I see a lot of trips to Sonic Drive-In in our future. What should I try next – Chocolate Covered Banana, Lemon Pie, Hot Fudge, or my own flavor blend? The possibilities are endless!
