How many of you have recently gone or still need to go back-to-school shopping? Depending on where you’re located across the country, you may have already scoured the stores for all of the necessities while, for others, you may still be procrastinating. Right now, I’m somewhere in that mix. We did get the basic overall shopping list for one of my children through we’ve still yet to receive an exact, detailed list from his assigned teacher. For our other little one, we’re still waiting to hear back from the school to see what it is that he’ll be needing this year.
In previous years, for the kids as well as myself, I have always been all over the place; you need this item from that store, and that item from this store. It always seemed to be a never-ending cycle and, despite how hard you may have tried, there was always another something that you needed from somewhere else. You’d think that after all these years, decades upon decades of back-to-school shopping, someone would finally come up with the idea to have everything all in one place. For the first time in what feels like ages, back-to-school shopping was fun. We were able to roam the store picking out clothes for each child in various locations and, on our way from one section to another, we stocked up on some supplies. This year, as opposed to bouncing between stores we joyfully bounced between clothing racks and supply stands getting everything that we needed.
