Something really fun is happening at Baskin-Robbins! Just in time for the holidays are Baskin-Robbins holiday ice cream cakes. These holiday cakes include the Elf Cake, the Snowman Cake or the Santa Cake. Lucky me (and my family) – we recently got to try one of these. Choosing which cake was a little bit difficult, but my daughter insisted on the Elf Cake.
We were so impressed with how cute and perfect our Baskin-Robbins Holiday Elf ice cream cake was. We were able to choose what flavor we wanted out of several, such as Mint Chip, Chocolate Chip, etc., but since we are all huge cookie fans, that is the one we chose – OREOS Cookies n’ Cream. Look how cute he turned out – almost too cute to eat!
I really think the Snowman and Santa cakes are adorable too – imagine bringing one of each to a holiday party!
I have always been a fan of Baskin-Robbins, and I have fond memories of my mom taking me there each week after my swimming lessons (that were right across the street). For some reason, I was always starving after swimming, and on the hot summer days, there was nothing more perfect than Baskin-Robbins. My favorite ice cream flavor then was Pralines ‘n Cream. I am so glad to see that they still make that flavor. Another thing I used to love, for a special treat, were the Clown Cones. They still carry these too!
In addition to the Elf Cake, I purchased two darling little specialty treats – a Snow Man Individual Treat and a Snow Woman treat. These are the cutest things ever, and perfect when you just want a little something special. I chose good ol’ Vanilla ice cream for these.

After much debate, I decided to let my daughter take our Elf Cake to her Sea Scouts meeting, as they were having their holiday pot luck and I knew the kids would be delighted to have something really fun and festive for dessert. Here is the mayhem that took place:

I’m sure the poor little guy didn’t fare long; I mean he’s cute and everything but the fact that he’s delicious probably outweighs everything else. LOL

These Baskin and Robbins cakes are so cute! I would choose the Snowman cake with Oreo Cookies and Cream and chocolate cake! They taste so delicious!
ok, the snow man was really cute – much cuter than the ice cream turkey cake at thanksgiving.. we thought that was just gross!

When I lived on the farm as a kid, stuck in the boonies, my sister and I got to go to our Aunt and Uncle’s in Chicago two weeks a year. I was about 10 when I fell in love for the first time. NO lie, I would dream about it. The year would pass and I could not wait to see BR again. I thought I was in heaven! Pralines and Cream was and IS MY favorite flavor. I’d save my birthday money and we’d do jobs for our aunt and she’d PAY us in ice cream! Such great memories! So disappointed there are none in our area now, but there was ONE left within 2 hours from us at least last year and happens to be where my sil lives. I’d love to visit again, and then AFTER going to BR, we might go see the family too;) LOL!

The individual snowpeople are so darling and great for a winter birthday party. I think could be made at home? But not as good as BR by far! Yum!

These cakes are very cute. I wonder if they are going to do other designs for later holidays. I like that they are updating their cake designs although any of them are always delicious.
