Bird’s Eye Brings Disney, Veggies & Pasta Together

Do you struggle to get your kids to eat vegetables? Getting my kids to even try a vegetable sometimes involves bribing, begging and whining (usually from me). But, we all know how important it is for them not to only eat vegetables but learn to like them or at least find the vegetables that they do love. I’ll be honest and say it’s a struggle for ME to eat vegetables most days, so I can certainly understand why my kids put up a fuss like they do.

Bird's Eye Brings Disney, Veggies & Pasta Together

When I heard that Bird’s Eye was bringing out of new line of side dishes that might appeal to my kids, I couldn’t wait to check them out. We already know that Bird’s Eye is the number one name in frozen vegetables, but they now also offer nutritious, veggie-rich side dishes that kids will love. Plus, each of the side dishes features Disney characters that any child (and let’s be honest, us adults too!) will love. With characters like Anna, Elsa, and Olaf from Disney’s Frozen; Lightning McQueen and Mater from Disney•Pixar’s Cars; and classic characters Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse your kids will love eating their vegetables!

There are different varieties, depending on what your child likes or what your main dish is. Choose from whole grain pasta and corn with a butter sauce, pasta and broccoli with a cheese sauce, pasta and peas with a Parmesan cheese sauce, and pasta and carrots with a tomato sauce.

According to the State Of The Plate report, nine out of ten people in the United States do not get enough vegetables. This is a great way to show your kids that vegetables can be delicious and you’ll feel better knowing that they are getting the vitamins and nutrients that they need!

Fortunately, my son and grandson like vegetables. Although, my grandson would think it’s the coolest to have them in the shape of his Disney favorites. So much fun! I’ll have to be on the look-out for these in-stores. Thanks for the information. 🙂

I’m a big fan of their steamfresh cooking packages, they make cooking so easy. I like their combos of veggies and sauces too.
