Black Santa Home Decor Collection
It has gotten so much easier to find black Santa home decor in the stores and I love coming across these great finds! We hope you enjoy our collection of African-American Christmas Decor. They bring so much joy to our family when we display these items throughout the holiday season.
Were to Find African-American Christmas Decor
Believe it or not, my collection of Black Santa snow globes all came from Target. Yes! I was so excited when I made my usual Target run for groceries and other household items, and came across the most lovely collection of Santas and Ballerinas in different shades. They were so gorgeous that I went overboard and some for several people on my Christmas list.
Black Ballerina Snow Globe from Target
I literally cried when my son Kairo (3) somehow got hold of my ballerina and busted the globe all over the floor!
A wave of emotions came over me like the 5 stages of grief.
Once I came to my senses, I immediately high tailed it back to Target only to find that the Black Santa and Ballerina were ALL sold out. Of course!
These girls were gorgeous, so I went home and organized a search party for all of the Target locations in the area that still had stock.
I drove to Target and I scooped up every melanin rich Santa and ballerina I could get my hands on.
Black Santa Decor on Amazon
Who doesn’t love a whimsical nutcracker? This one was such a great amazon find because he’s so handsome and sturdy. I love it because the colors are bright with rich reds and a lovely shade of brown. I haven’t named him yet, but now that I’m writing this I feel like he looks like a Barry. What do you think?
Black Christmas Angel Watching Over Us?
Meet Catherine, my angel named for my grandmother in heaven. I believe this symbol of my grandmother’s love was watching over us the day I placed her atop the Christmas tree and later, a barrage of bullets sprayed across 3 homes on my street.
We could have been killed!
I thought we lived in a nice neighborhood but low and behold, a freaking drive by shooting the week before Christmas. No one was hurt but my son Kairo and I could have been killed if not for the bullets never making it to our window. It’s like they were steered away from our window by force. I just know it was because of Catherine.
She has a porcelein face and beautiful gold wings. I take great care whenever I remove her from her box and when I pack her away for the next year.
Catherine was also an amazon find but quickly sold out. The thing is, these darker skinned Christmas decor items can be tricky to find so when you see a Black Santa or the like, you have to grab it fast.
This baby just arrived from Pottery Barn Kids as I was typing this! LOL Yes, it came! I waited a few weeks for this soft, plush pillow. On the site you can select the skin tone you want. Just in case you can’t visit Black Santa he can come to you!
I haven’t decided whether or not to place it on my bed on on the sofa. The item was on back order so if you want it from Pottery Barn Kids, you should head over there fast.
Last but not least, we have a nice collection of Black Santa sheets, also from Pottery Barn. These sheets are so crisp and festive. I just love them. I have a full review of these sheets here.
We hope you enjoyed our black Santa home decor collection for our holiday home hop! Be sure to check out more decor from my friends below!

Merry Christmas to you too Donna! Thank you so much, stay blessed!
Loved all of your festive touches in your home. My favorite was the Nutcrackers on the mantel. My daughters are dancing in the Nutcracker ballet this next month. Happy holidays and may your angels continue to watch over your family. Peace and love,
Thanks Susan! I saw it and you know how us girls get with our decor. I had to have it! Your daughter is a ballet dancer…that’s so precious!
I love your home decor and how special it is to you! Naming your angel after your grandmother is a truly beautiful sentiment. It must feel lovely to have her watching over you during the holidays. I’m so glad that you are able to find more Black Santa decor in stores now. It’s about time Christmas became more inclusive for everyone. Disney actually added a Black Santa to their Christmas parade Santa rotation this year for the first time ever.
Wow! I didn’t know that. Thanks for that nugget about Disney. We went on a family trip during Christmas time and the parade was larger than life. Have a Merry Christmas Ashley!
Wonderful to hop with you today – thank you for sharing your beautiful holiday decorations with us!
