Back when I started my blog, I looked everywhere for blogging tutorials. Â I became a sponge really {not in a bad way}…I mean that I scoured Google for articles and how-to’s in search of answers. Â I joined forums and communities, and eventually I found my way. Â Believe me when I say, there was lots of trial and error.
There is a wealth of information about blogging available online, but I have found the most helpful to be posts written by experienced bloggers. Â I have composed this list of posts, from top bloggers, that I believe will be invaluable to all bloggers. Â Whether you are just starting a blog, are experienced, or you fit somewhere in between, take a gander below – you just might learn something new!
BASIC BLOGGING TUTORIALS:
- Desperately Seeking WordPress – WordPress Basics
- Lindsay Blogs – Blogging FAQ’s
- Nolie’s Place, has quite a few blogging tips posts, including helpful WordPress plugins, social media, organization and more.
- Frugal Novice wrote a blog post about five valuable blogging resources, which you definitely want to look over.

- Kidsumers did a moving from Blogger to WordPress tutorial.  This is something many bloggers do after being on the Blogger platform for awhile.  WordPress is a wonderful way to blog, but switching can be a difficult task if you don’t have the right instructions.
- Simply Stacie (she has quite a few fabulous posts on blogging!), but her Where to find a premium WordPress theme for your blog and 10 Reasons why your site crashed are really helpful.

Thanks Lisa – so glad I can help! As far as where to post your giveaways, if you click on reviews and giveaways in my navigation bar, a pull-down menu will appear. Click on “Big List of Thumbnail giveaway linky sites” or something like that, and you will see them listed by day. As far as submitting your site and how to list rankings…I’m not quite sure what you are asking?
