It’s flu season…ugh! From the news (and by news I mean Facebook) reports, it’s brutal. We’ve been lucky thus far, but just in case I’ve stocked up on pain killers and a variety of tea and something new – something I haven’t thought of using before – a Chillow.
Chillow is a portable pillow insert that provides instant person cooling relief. When I’m sick, I’m freezing or burning up, there is no happy medium. For those times when I’m on fire, a cool Chillow under the arms or resting on the forehead provides relief from flu symptoms.
Of course, the Chillow is just good to have around, period. I’m a pillow flipper, so having a Chillow around to absorb the heat that radiates from my body at night is certainly welcome! Goodbye pillow flipping days, hello to waking up feeling well-rested.
I like that the Chillow is so easy to use, it is activated by adding water (7 – 8 cups) to its inner chamber (a cup of water may need to be added monthly depending on climate).
Give it 4 hours to activate, release the air bubble and start chilling! It can be customized to four different cooling comfort levels to satisfy personal needs.
Once its temperature is set, it stays at that level and provides cooling relief for hours.
I’ve found an additional use for Chillow as well – shin splints! I have a wicked case of shin splints, especially since I’m walking indoors on a hard concrete floor. I pop the Chillow into the fridge before I go on a walk and when I get home from my walk, I prop up my feet and relax with the Chillow over my legs. Technically, you’re supposed to ice shin splints but it’s winter and cold enough outside, the Chillow works perfect!
The Chillow retails for $12.99 with processing and handling of $6.95. Currently, it’s BOGO, buy one get one, simply pay an additional $6.95 processing and handling. You’ll be surprised at all of the ways you can use a Chillow!
