Build A Chocolate Bar Just for Him for Father’s Day with Chocomize

My husband is lucky to not have the same limitations with foods as I do. He is also a sucker for dark chocolate. Little does he know, I had a number of dark chocolate bars customized just for him for Father’s Day thanks to Chocomize. [*]

Customizing a chocolate bar is simple {even with my crazy combinations}. I started by selecting the chocolate type. Dark, milk, and white are your options, though each bar I created was made with dark 100% Belgian chocolate. From there, I selected the toppings. I appreciated seeing a few organic ingredients, though I would love to see even more!

I added “Happy Father’s Day” plaques and one “I Love You” plaque for a special touch. I love the option for naming my chocolate bar creations! I think I came up with some clever ones…

chocomize

Meat Candy: Dark chocolate with cocoa nibs and real bacon. Because that is what we lovingly call bacon in our home.
Brew Ha Ha: Dark chocolate with ground coffee and coffee beans. Because he loves coffee!
Yin and Yang: Dark chocolate with sea salt and caramel pieces. Because we are a very yin and yang couple.
Mostly Sweet With a Few Nuts: Dark chocolate with organic cashews and sea salt. Because that is the best definition of family!

chocomize

I have plenty of praise for the whole Chocomize concept and the ease of ordering, but in order for me to offer our readers an opinion on the quality, I made an extra Meat Candy bar without a plaque and gave it to The Mister. He thought I received a single bar for my review… I am sneaky. *snicker*

The Mister’s thoughts:

I found the chocolate to be creamy, it was perfectly balanced in sweetness, and the bacon offered a subtle smoky flavor. I am impressed by the fact that there are 300 million combinations.

chocomize

He led me to my next point. With all the options available, there are upwards of 300 million handcrafted chocolate bars you can create! You can easily tailor a bar to the person’s liking.

fathers day gift ideas

Chocomize would be a great gift for Father’s Day. Dream up epic flavor combinations and make them a reality in the creation station! Chocolate bars start at $4.25 and you build from there.

What a good idea! My husband would love the meat candy one. Who would think that bacon and chocolate would be good together?

Sounds yummy! It would be a good fathers day gift,,, though, I have to admit, any chocolate in this house is going to be eaten by me. 🙂
