If there is a clear indicator that Paige is MY child, it’s her love of shoes. She’s adamant that shoes are not simply for functionality, they make or break an outfit. Have I mentioned she’s 8? She’s at that age where she really wants shoes that look great. I think it’s important to have shoes that are comfortable. We’ve found that stylish, comfortable combination with Cienta shoes.
Made in Spain, Cienta has been creating high-quality footwear for children. They use natural materials with advanced technology that promotes the natural and correct development of children’s feet.
We received two styles of Cienta shoes to try out. First the Mary Jane Sparkle in Gunmetal. I love that they are a breathable canvas with that touch of glitter/sparkle. Paige will quickly point out that her favorite color is sparkle. They feature an adjustable hook and loop strap closure with a removable insole. Available in a variety of sizes, from the littlest of walkers to little kid size, like Paige.
The other pair we tried out was the distressed, laceless Sneaker in pink. This pair is super chic and full of attitude. Paige loves slip-ons, so they have quickly become her go-to pair. Again made with a breathable canvas, both pairs are quality at its finest!
I like Cienta shoes because they are washable – yes, you read that correctly. Throw Cienta shoes in the washer (cold water) and leave out to air dry. I know I’m not the only mom who finds this feature important! Plus, they look great with jeans, leggings, dresses, capris and shorts (although it’s too cold in central Nebraska for shorts!). A thoughtful, unique feature – outsoles that smell like berries! The natural scent is added to the rubber in the molding process. Talk about fun!
Cienta has a number of styles including slippers, slip-ons and boots for both girls and boys with a variety of sizes that retail starting at $36. All are made with seasonal appropriate materials, how many other brands take that into consideration.
