You may have seen the buzz on other blogs about a pretty neat program for organizing recipes – the Cook’n Recipe Organizer! Whether preparing a home-cooked meal for loved ones, printing a family cookbook, making a menu to simplify meal preparations, analyzing nutrition to help you eat healthier, or syncing a shopping list to your mobile device to save time and money at the grocery store, Cook’n puts your favorite recipes at your fingertips to help you creat the things that make mealtime enjoyable. The possibilities really do seem endless, and I think it’s so neat how you can collect your family’s favorite recipes and create your own cookbooks, and someday pass them on to your kids. I know my kids would really enjoy this, and I sure wish this program had been around many years ago so that I could have all of my favorite recipes that my mom used to make, in one handy place.
Of course the program does much more than just create recipe books – according to the folks that created the Cook’n Recipe Organizersoftware, it can help with grocery shopping, planning meals, and so many other things. This should give you an idea of what you can do with it: The Easiest Way to…
- Find the Best Recipes on the Internet
- Capture and Save Internet Recipes
- Enter Your Own Personal Recipes
- Sync Recipes with iPhone, iPad, & Android
- Print a Family Cookbook
- Analyze Nutritional Values
- Make Menus, Shopping Lists & More!

All of my recipes are written on paper in a drawer. I intend on putting them on the computer, but there are so many.
I added you to my google+ circles and gave you a +1
Mostly the old fashioned method of recipe cards (index cards) or I save them online on a few different sites.
I took your survey
I bookmark (in Chrome) my favorite recipes, which worked for awhile but now I have hundreds! Not to mention my collection of 50+ cookbooks. *sigh* I’ll never get organized.

This sounds like a neat program Jen! My organization is pretty much nil. In fact, I think my blog is my main source of go-to recipes aside from all my cookbooks. 🙂
My recipes are handwritten on 3×5 cards in a little box.

I have no idea where mine are cause i’m always losing them
papers thrown together in an old cook book mverno@roadrunner.com
Does ripping out pages from a magazine and throwing them in a pile count as organization? ‘Cause that’s what I got.

my recipe collection is spread across 2,000 square feet. Single pages placed here and there and never able to be located. I’m in need of serious organization!

I have pretty much zero organization when it comes to recipes. I like to clip them out of magazines, but they don’t really have a good home. Most recipes I use are in books that I keep on top of the fridge.
