Cozey 7 TrailHopper Keeps Your Little Ones Warm

I love fall and winter.  Leaves falling, frost-covered grass, drinking hot chocolate while watching a football game, chilly mornings, snow, getting out the sweaters and stocking hats.  However, it has become more difficult to enjoy the cold weather now that I have children.  I always worry about keeping them warm both inside and outside when the temperature starts dropping.

Jill, a mom who lives in Colorado, faced the same problem and created the Cozey 7 TrailHopper.  It looks and fits like a snowsuit, but it is made of soft Polartec fleece like a blanket.  It is thick enough to provide sufficient warmth, but not too bulky so children can comfortably and safely wear it in their car seats.  Parents of babies can ensure that they are bundled up well against the cold without having to worry about a blanket slipping, especially since it can be difficult to keep babies fully wrapped in a blanket while trying to carry them, diaper bags, purses, or whatever else they need.  Bigger kids can move around easily because they are not weighed down by heavy winter clothing.

The Cozey 7 TrailHopper comes in a variety of colors (we got Pink Solitaire!) and includes its own little storage bag.  The sizes include 0 to 6 months, 6 to 18 months, and 18 months to 2T.  I got ours in the 18 months to 2T size, thinking it would be perfect for my youngest daughter this fall and winter, since she is currently 14 months old.  However, this size actually fit my oldest daughter (who is 3), and she couldn’t be more excited to try it out!

My daughter loved wearing the Cozey 7 TrailHopper.  I asked her how it felt, and she said “cozy!”  It looks so cute on her, and we can’t wait to try it outside more – watching football games, helping dad rake up (and jump in!) leaves, playing in the snow, and just running around.  I anticipate that she can put it on over a sweatshirt or a thermal with a stocking hat for a crisp fall day, or pair it with her winter coat on a cold snowy day.  It will also be good for her to wear inside while curled up on the couch with a book or watching television, instead of a blanket.  There are even cuffs on the legs to fold over her feet so they can stay warm too!

  1. What do I like best about fall or winter? NO allergies! No bugs! End of the yard work. Really good excuses to declare “Movie day”!! LOL It is a more relaxing time for us. Well, in between shoveling!

  2. I love the fact that fall features temperatures that are finally reasonable enough to go outside in! It’s been so hot here. I also love football being back!

  3. I love the change of weather when it starts to get cooler and we get ready for the holidays that are coming up soon too.

  4. Quite honestly the cooler temperatures!! although it takes a long time before we feel any of the cooler weather down here in the south, but it is by far the thing i look forward to the most.
