There’s nothing like a rainy day week to get a child really excited about sunny weather! Thankfully, Luv enjoys curling up with a book on rainy days. She was especially happy to see two of the newest books from Craigmore Creations waiting for her!
Tool. Time. Twist. A Brief History of Tools Through Time
This book offers a fun look at the history of tools. Throughout this 2.5 million year glimpse of tool evolution, there are quirky illustrations and interesting facts about all sorts of tools. Kids will learn when tools were invented and how they are used. And the *twist* is how each tool has profoundly impacted our lives. The Mister also enjoyed reading this book with her:

Flowers by Number
This beautiful book introduces little ones to ten different wildflowers, learn where they come from, and learn their Latin names. All while practicing counting. Luv already has an appreciation for nature, but she enjoyed learning about flowers that don’t grow where we live. Her favorite of the bunch?
“I like the (prickly pear) cactus flower the best. It’s yellow, like my favorite color. But I don’t like the pokey things. I can’t like that…”
