Oh to be young again. I would do things a bit differently (wouldn’t we all?), but one of the most important things I would have done would be to take care of my health a little better. Don’t get me wrong, I am not unhealthy now, but I know there are a few things I could improve upon.

One of my biggest inspirations to get healthier is that I hope to have grandchildren one day. I want to be that cool grandma who gets down on the floor and plays with the babies and kids. I want to be able to take them to the park, on vacations, and bake for them. Basically most of the things I did with my own kids. I don’t want to be frail if I can help it. I would like to be spunky and able to move about easily (to keep up with the kids too!).

There are so many ways I could improve my health, and one way is to be better about taking multi-vitamins, or specific vitamins. Another way would be to eat more fruits and vegetables. I really hate to admit it, but I don’t think I meet the daily minimum amounts each day. I am hoping that between increasing my intake of fruits and veggies and taking Nature’s Bounty supplements, that my body will have all of the nutrients it needs. One product I will definitely take is Nature’s Bounty® Probiotic 10, which supports digestive balance and healthy immune function. Super important!

Nature’s Bounty wants to help support people on their journey to a healthy future! They are encouraging people to stop and think about their overall health and hope that by taking these steps today, you will have a healthier tomorrow.

Being healthy is more than just physical, of course. We all need to be healthy mentally and emotionally as well. Taking care of ourselves now could pay off in a big way as we age.

Nature’s Bounty is a brand I know and trust and I know I am getting quality products. In fact, they use the finest ingredients, mixed with the latest breakthroughs in nutritional science to provide the supplements that we need. I have used their items in the past and since they have about 50 years of experience, I am confident that they know their “stuff”! I haven’t used them enough though, and that is where part of the problem lies, and one of the things I want to improve upon.

Dear Future Me sweepstakes
I have something really fun to share with you – the #DearFutureMe Sweepstakes!

Now is as good a time as any to start taking better care of yourself, so while you are at it, you might as well share your thoughts with others. Did you know that research shows that you are 42% more likely to achieve your goals by writing them down! When you write a letter to your future self about the healthy steps you will take going forward, it feels good, and will hopefully help you stick to your plan. When you look back, you will have something to remind you of your thoughts at this point in life. It is a healthy living commitment of sorts. You will thank yourself in the future.

The other good thing is that when you share, your friends and family can also cheer you on and offer support (and hopefully they will decide to take healthy steps too!).

How do you participate in the sweepstakes?

Well, you start by taking a photo of a #DearFutureMe letter to yourself (or you can upload a photo with a phrase that captures your own commitment to a healthier future). Upload your entry on the Nature’s Bounty #DearFutureMe website or you can even post your entry on Twitter or Instagram if you prefer. If you choose the latter two, don’t forget to use the hashtags #DearFutureMe AND #Sweepstakes. You will need to include both of these!

When you enter, you could win a Better Off Healthy prize pack, which is valued at over $2,400! This prize pack has some fantastic items, including one year’s supply of assorted Nature’s Bounty vitamins and supplements. These supplements will even be customized for your needs – how cool is that? Also included are the Fitbit Surge™ Fitness Superwatch, a one-year membership to a gym, and a Mary Lou Retton signed cover of Sports Illustrated.

The #DearFutureMe sweepstakes runs through December 10, 2016, and ends at 11:59 P.M. EST.

Mary Lou Retton has actually partnered with Nature’s Bounty on the #DearFutureMe program, and has provided her tips for staying healthy: Take your vitamins, exercise and stay active, focus on the positives and not the negatives when it comes to healthy eating.

I entered the sweepstakes and it was easy to enter. Here is my entry:

  1. Thank you for the thorough review. Need to start thinking about anti aging things… i take vitamins as well, just dont know how it actually affects the the the health and body.

  2. I, too, am interested in keeping healthy. I make sure that I do take my supplements daily and I try to eat a good variety of fruits and veggies daily. Love my bananas and apples.

  3. Health is the #1 thing, so many of my friends and family have recently been feeling low or have had several health conditions, anything we can do- exercise, sleep, vitamins, probiotics, it’s worth it.

  4. My sister keeps telling me to take their probiotics. Now that I heard they have these for kids too, I need to try to get some for them

  5. It’s always been brought to my attention to give more time to realizing the importance of health! A huge, huge thank you goes out for the thorough review. As my family has had it in the genes of always looking to find ways of slowing down anti aging… i take vitamins daily since being about 18, this might be that key answer to helping that of my rather small family but I have to first find something I can remove from my needs to afford the product.

  6. These are great tips I too need to make my health a top priority I am always putting all of my kids needs above myself .

  7. I really enjoyed reading this post. I agree that I am more likely to follow up on a goal if I write it down. Health awareness is a good way to understand how today’s behavior and habits will affect you down the road.

  8. I too want to stay healthy so I recently had a mammogram and colonoscopy. I love to take all kinds of vitamins and supplements but have not tried these yet.

  9. I am definitely interested in keeping my body healthy. I thank you so much for this informative post, and give my regards.
