Waking kids up can sometimes be a challenge. A BIG challenge with certain kids, but I digress. Sure you could blare a horn or throw a glass of water on them, but really, who wants to do that – especially early in the morning. Now there is a really fun way for kids to wake up and get up by themselves – The Dinosaur Projection Alarm Clock.

What makes the Dinosaur Projection Alarm Clock so neat? Well it not only projects the time, but different dinosaur images on the ceiling too! These four dinosaurs are the Stegosaurus, Diplodocus and Pterodactyl, Diabloceratops and Ampelosaurus.

I remember how much my son loved dinosaurs when he was a little guy. He had all varieties, large and small, and played with them non-stop. He SO would have loved this clock when he was young!

The images project pretty large – up to 30 inches in diameter, and the dinosaur’s head rotates 340 degrees.

Big Red Rooster has other darling alarm clocks too! They have a cat alarm clock, dog alarm clock and a rocket alarm clock too!

On all of the above clocks, you can set the timer for the projection time and you can choose to have the image set for 10 or 30 minutes. They are powered by 3 “C” cell batteries or you can use the included AC Adaptor.

I was pleased to see that Big Red Rooster also has sleep machines!  I had SUCH  a difficult time getting my child to sleep when she was a baby (and toddler too). We had a little machine that made the heartbeat sound, but it would have been nice to have other sound choices too. The sounds on the Big Red Rooster Sound Machine include sounds such as lullaby, twinkle, white noise, heartbeat, ocean and rock-a-bye.

What is REALLY neat is the Portable Baby Sound Machine with 5 Sounds. How convenient it would be to take this everywhere you go. These guys really know babies!

  29. I would love to win this for Andrew, he is our 2-1/2 yr old grandson who we were just awarded custody of. I am familiar with this light because his Aunt bought him a Mickey Mouse one. He will eventually be having his daddys old room upstairs and I know he would love this, thanks
