Throughout the month of May, in recognition of moms who do extraordinary things every day for their families and communities, Dollar General is teaming up with Procter & Gamble to honor moms – the true Every Day Heroes who have made sacrifices for their families and their communities. To celebrate moms, Dollar General is inviting customers to upload videos describing why their moms are “Every Day Heroes.” Videos can be summited and viewed at www.dollargeneral.com/everydayheroes.

One day I hope that my girls jump at the chance to enter a video about their mama. For me, I wish that I knew my mother but unfortunately she died when I was 4. You can never tell how things would have been but knowing myself I believe I would have made a video to show her how much I loved her and how much she meant to me. What a great opportunity to tell her your mom how you feel and what makes her your “Every Day Hero“. She will be flattered and it will make the both of you feel extra good inside!

  2. My hero in life will always be my mom even though she passed away in 2001 when I had just turned 16. She was always there to support me in everything I do, and let me know that I could do anything in life! She made me stay focused on life, and my goals. Before making any decisions now I always think back to what she would or done or said to me.
