Many men don’t think of their showering routing quite the way that women do. They typically don’t use all of the “products” we do, but in my house, the men do enjoy products created especially for them. Dove Men+Care offers the guys special products too!
Since women have their own special items that usually smell too feminine for the guys to use (this is probably a good thing that they stay out of our special body washes, shampoos, etc.), it’s wonderful that the fellas can also have their own products (that we will stay out of!).
My husband is going to be so happy to receive this set for Father’s Day this year. Although we do not have any big plans for Father’s Day, we are going to spend the day together, with the kids, just having quality time. I think my daughter and I will be making him his favorite dinner (Cheesy Lemon Chicken!), and probably we will bake a special dessert as well.
This was a really nice set of Dove+Men Care products that arrived. It contained Aqua Impact deodorant/antiperspirant for those hot summer days, those busy work days or any other time that a little protection is needed (and oh, how I appreciate that!):
Next up was the Clean Defense Body and Face Wash. I don’t think men are generally as diligent as women when it comes to taking care of their faces (or skin in general for that matter), so I am happy to see that Dove has developed a product that will help men, without them having to have a real skin care routine.
And finally, the Dove Active Clear Dual Sided Shower Tool. This thing is pretty neat (and I might just have to “borrow” it from my husband). Men aren’t keen on using bright and feminine scrubbers, so this one is nice because it is just for them. It’s manly, and will do the job!
Speaking of men and dads, I wanted to share with you a couple of dad bloggers who I enjoy, just in case you want to show them a little love for Father’s Day as well. Why is Daddy Crying is hilarious (in case the title of his blog wasn’t enough to make you realize that!). I also love The Busy Dad Blog – he is a great storyteller!
Let’s celebrate those dads who mean so much to us. The hard workers, the great husbands, the dads who are really involved with their children, and of course our very own fathers. This is the first Father’s Day I will spend without my father, and I miss him terribly. Make sure you let your dad how very much you love him!
