Board games and word games like evil wordle are always a great addition to gift giving for children. As parents seek to reduce screen time and foster more family interaction there has been a huge revival of game night.

What if those game nights were not only fun but eco friendly and educational?

Adventerra Games is a family-owned company based in Switzerland. They publish engaging puzzles and eco friendly games that help kids learn to conserve natural resources and save the planet.

We reviewed 3 games in our home;

Hungry Bins Memory Game Ages 3+

The first game we opened was Hungry Bins. It was a clear favorite right away. Geared towards ages 3 and up, it was easy to set up and had vibrant fun colors. This game of memory is a game that the children can play without any adult guidance as long as they can count to 10.

We were really charmed by the Hungry Bins game to open it and see that the box is part of the game. So efficient!

PowerHaus Ages 7+

Power Haus Game

The next game we decided to try was Power Haus. This eco friendly game is geared towards ages 7 and up. There is a bit more understanding involved. This is a longer game play that can easily be turned into a Homeschool lesson for the day. My 8 & 10 year olds led the charge.

The children were able to read the directions and set up the game. They did need a little assistance from me when it came to the actual “how”. I was so thankful for the video instruction that Adventerra Games provided. It was the perfect solution.

Polar Adventure: Disappearing Ice Ages 4-6

Polar Adventure Game

Last on our list of eco friendly children’s games to check out was Polar Adventure! This was the cutest game of the bunch. All of Adventerra games are well made, high quality and this one did not disappoint.  This was another game aimed for younger children. We all enjoyed the pop up game set and the cute pieces that moved along the board.
