Stamp the Moment
Last year, my dad was diagnosed with cancer and 63 days later, he passed away. I was heartbroken and absolutely devastated. He was so young – only 57 years old. I miss him. Every single day I miss him. I have memories, I have photographs but it wasn’t enough. Then I found Stamp the Moment’s Etched Reflections.

My birthday fell before my dad passed and he sent me a card, it’s the very last thing I have from his written hand and it’s something I absolutely cherish. Etched Reflections is a new custom laser-etched line of stainless steel jewelry in which you upload custom images, handwritten initials or signatures, doodles and even footprints. The sky is the limit! I knew just the thing I wanted etched on a necklace, the last two words he wrote on the birthday card he had mailed to me.

Isn’t it amazing? Right there, it’s his handwriting. Just looking at it brings tears to my eyes. It was such an emotional process creating the necklace, but so easy. Easy at 1, 2, 3!

I simply snapped a photo of the card and uploaded it to the pendant of my choice. There were several pendants to choose from and all are $59.99. I selected the oval pendant as it had a scalloped edging. Simple and sophisticated. Once I uploaded my image, I had the option to resize, rotate, invert or make the pendant double sided (this last option has a fee). Once that was done, I selected my chain option – free options are the 18” stainless steel ball chain and the stainless steel keyring. Other options are available for different prices. I selected the 20” stainless steel cable chain for $7.00.

And that’s it! When it arrived, I couldn’t have been happier and I’ve worn it every day since. It’s like I have a part of my dad that I carry with me. He was greatly loved and is forever missed.
