FlipStir Puzzles – Fun For the Entire Family!

With the beginning of the New Year, I look for ways to engage minds – whether it’s brain games, crossword puzzles, word searches or puzzles. I’ve recently discovered a new realm of puzzle fun called the FlipStir!

FlipStir is a new twist to those 3D puzzles and it provides plenty of entertainment! FlipStir also aids in the development of hand-eye coordination and motor skill development. My 7 year old has had plenty of fun with FlipStir as have my adult friends. FlipStir puzzles are easy to pick up and a challenge to solve. I may or may not have jumped up and yelled “Victory, sweet victory!”

Available in either Level 1 or Level 2 these puzzles are 10 pieces are self-contained and require use of a wand to flip, maneuver and solve. They are challenging, fun and as a parent, I appreciate that they can easily be stored, there are no little pieces to clean up or lose for that matter! Plus, FlipStir puzzles are perfect for travel!

Level 1 puzzles have a simple image and rectangular pieces. The designs include Rainbow Pencils and Tyrannosaurus Rex. Level 2 is a bit more difficult in regards to images and curvy pieces.

We tried out the Level 2 Solar System and Statue of Liberty puzzle – what fun! Both are challenging, but plenty of fun and I found them a great help during finals week. When I needed a 5 minute break, I’d grab a puzzle and let my mind go!
