My nails are my pride and joy. I like ’em long and I like ’em fancy. I’ve had my acrylic nails for over 6 years now. It’s just my thing.
I can do everything that anyone else can with my long nails. Typing, easy-peasy. Buttoning a shirt, I got that. You name it, I can do it.
Well, there is one thing I just can’t seem to master. Those darn Nutter Butter Ghosts. My friend brought some of those ghoulish treats over for dessert the other night.
Those delicious ghosts are like crack. You can’t just have one and forget about it. No. They call your name and pretty soon, the simplicity of the treat sucks you in. I can make those!
It’s a super simple recipe, too.
Nutter Butter Ghosts
1 package of Nutter Butters
6 blocks of Almond Bark (half a package)
Mini Chocolate chips
Melt the Almond Bark in the microwave or on the stove top. Stir frequently and be cautious not to burn, just keep stirring. Once melted, dip one side of Nutter Butter into the melted Almond Bark, place on a rack or a sheet of parchment paper. Add mini chocolate chips as eyes before the Almond Bark hardens.
That’s it.
I did fine too, until it was time to add the blasted mini chocolate chip eyes. Those mini chocolate chips are really small! Do you know how difficult it is to grab a hold of just one and to delicately place it in the eye region?
My ghosts look drunk. They aren’t cute. Sure they are edible, but you eat with your eyes first…and my eyes don’t want anything to do with these disasters.
Right now, I’m so thankful that I’m in charge of drinks for the classroom Halloween party. Yeah. I can handle drinks.

Haha! The first thing that popped into my head, “Nailed it!” 😀 Drinks are totally doable.
Could you use tweezers of some kind to put the eyes on?
