Now that winter is here, it is time for me to put away my flip flops and pull out something that will keep my feet warm. The problem is, I am big on comfort. Other than tennis shoes, flip flops and the occasional pair of sandals, I rarely find shoes that are comfortable enough to wear all day long {especially during the winter months}. I think that just may have changed.
Flojos®, recognized as one of the top sandal manufacturers in the world, is a name synonymous with the active, California beach lifestyle. Flojos® (pronounced flo-hos, meaning “kick back” in Spanish) specializes in beach, fashion and sport sandals for women, men and children, with a focus on comfort, style and affordable prices.
Flojos® established itself as a force in the U.S. sandal arena in 1979, with the introduction of the original Flojos, a popular rubber criss-cross sandal. The original Flojos style was borrowed from a traditional design from the Mexican culture, a style that has been a favorite among fisherman, surfers and beachcombers since the 1940’s. Recently, the Original Flojos and other Flojos® styles alike have been making resurgence, showing up on beaches as well as city streets.
All Flojos® sandals are designed with attention to detail and comfort, with materials including top quality leather, nylon, rubber and canvas. Most Flojos® sandals are perfect for a walk on the beach, but some women’s styles are elaborately trimmed with beads and sequins—the perfect accessory for a night out on the town.
I was ecstatic when I learned I would be reviewing the
Flojo’s Albany Clog {$58.00 ARV}. When I was asked for my shoe size, I got a little worried. I wear a size 7, but some shoes {many, actually} run small and so I tend to order/buy a 7 1/2. They don’t have half sizes so I tried my luck with a size 7. When they arrived I was eager to slip them on. Oh my – they fit perfectly! Seriously – it is like they were custom made for my feet. They are super comfortable and oh so cute. They are vegan leather faux-sherpa lined and keep my feet toasty, but they don’t get too hot, thanks to little perforations in the top which allow the feet to breath.

The Flojo’s Albany Clog is available in Black or Brown. I love these so much and they look awesome with jeans, my winter clothing staple. They have a block heel, and for me this is a plus. I stand 5’3 and I like to wear shoes to make me look a little taller, but I don’t necessarily like to teeter on skinny heels. The block heels on the Flojo’s Albany Clog are solid and sturdy. Flojo’s has other clogs too, including clogs without the faux-sherpa lining. I am very impressed with the quality of the clogs – they are incredibly sturdy and I have a feeling they are going to last a long, long time! They can be purchased online at the Flojo’s website.

Flojo’s is probably best known for the summer shoes. They have a huge selection of flip flops that are really attractive, and I imagine comfortable too, if the clogs are any indication. You can find flip-flops for the whole family at Flojo’s!
Make sure you follow Flojo’s on Facebook and Twitter!

They are SO comfy!
Super cute! I love shoes that are comfy and warm during the winter but like you I don’t like the ones that make my feet sweat. These look like a perfect combo of both!
I love those clogs. I bet they would be great in this cool weather 🙂
Oh the shoes you got look so comfy and nice! I love the fuzzy lining inside. I wouldn’t mind getting a pair of these too. I know my mom would like them as well.
Those shoes looks so cozy! I’ve been wearing clogs with big, heavy socks that make my feet too big for the shoes. I just need to buy the Albany clog. Love it!
