You know those rooms, closets or other places that are always dark? Yeah – we have those too and it can be very frustrating when you are looking for something and there are no lights nearby. I recently discovered Mr. Beams Anywhere Ceiling Lights, and I am quite impressed. I have tried other types of “stick-up” lights {usually really cheap-o ones}, and though they worked okay for a couple of days, they didn’t last long. This is not the case with Mr. Beams Lights!

Mr Beams Anywhere Ceiling Lights are battery operated, motion sensor lights with an auto shutoff that can easily be mounted to almost any surface. The Ceiling Lights are bright enough to light up a large closet, and are perfect to light your attic, garage or storage spaces. You can even mount them outside of your home entryways for extra security.

We didn’t have to think long to decide what would be the best spot for our Mr. Beams Anywhere Ceiling Light. We actually have two spots that would be perfect, but we chose to mount it {very easy to do} in our hall closet. It is really dark in there and also very crowded with coats, jackets, etc., and trying to find something in there is always a hassle. Our second choice was in our laundry room, which is the first room {kind of a galley laundry room, if you will}. We think that one of these lights will be perfect in there, as it has a motion sensor, and if we have our hands full when we walk in, the light would come on automatically – love it!

I thought this was kind of funny – my husband put the batteries in yesterday and set the light on the kitchen counter, until he could install it today. He just told me that last night that every time he went in the kitchen {it was dark}, that the light would go on. The motion sensor is really sensitive, which is a really good thing!

Mr. Beams has other types of battery operated lights too, including Mr. Beams Stick Anywhere Nightlights. I think I will definitely have to invest in a few of these, as our upstairs is super dark, and there are not plugs in the hallway.  I always worry when we have guests spending the night, that they may stumble or fall on their way to the restroom {or down the stairs!}.

I am absolutely thrilled with the light I received and I now have thought of several more places we could really use them. In addition to needing more in our house, I would love to get a few for my dad.  He is 82 years old and has some trouble getting around. I would feel so much better knowing he would be able to see better throughout his house, with the help of Mr. Beams lights.
