Today’s Featured Company:

I have tried quite a few desserts in my lifetime, but never have I had something so fun and original as the shot glass mousse desserts from Old Style Desserts. I am completely intrigued with just about everything on their website.

Old Style Desserts’, Mail Order Cakes, and Pastries have been enjoyed by discriminating people for close to 50 years. Our products are served with pride by select restaurants, caterers, coffee bars and gourmet food shops across the country. We ship frozen in insulated containers kept cold by dry ice. Safe arrival is guaranteed.

When Erin and I heard that Old Style Desserts wanted to participate in our Holiday Gift Guide, we were both ecstatic. She and I both love goodies, especially really good goodies! Old Style Desserts gave us two choices for review and amazingly enough we didn’t argue over who would get what {I am totally kidding – Erin and I get along swimmingly}. She chose the Chocolate Mudball Minis and I chose the Mousse Shot Glasses.

If you are like me, you may not know exactly what the shot glasses are. This explains it better than I can:

Five each of five delicious flavors in a re-usable presentation shot glass. Raspberry layered with Lemon, white Chocolate Mousse layered with light Chocolate Mousse, white Chocolate Mousse layered with Mango Mousse, dark Chocolate Mousse layered with Caramel Mousse + dark Chocolate Mousse layered with Raspberry Mousse. 25 shot glasses per carton.

Ummm yeah. Unbelievable. When these arrived, I was first impressed with how well they were packaged to ensure freshness. When I opened the box, my mouth literally dropped open as I stared at the 25 colorful mousse filled shot glasses that stared back at me, beckoning me to eat them. I called my kids in to see these miniature masterpieces, and they were as surprised as I was.

We each grabbed a skinny spoon and chose a flavor. Theh first one I tried was the Dark Chocolate Mousse layered with Caramel Mousse. It was so incredibly good. It was light and sweet, but not too sweet. I grabbed a Chocolate/Raspberry shot glass next and dug right in. They were so fluffy and tasty that I really could have eaten several more. My kids eagerly tried a couple too, and were instantly in love with each flavor. We couldn’t help but think that these would be an amazing dessert to bring to a party – and how surprised and thrilled everyone would be to discover these shot glass desserts.

Old Style Desserts has an incredible selection of desserts that you don’t see everyday. Each and every one looks as heavenly as the next. They have Petit Fours, Tartes, Cream Puffs, Eclairs, birthday cakes and so much more. Every dessert on their site looks like an artistic masterpiece. Here are a few that I am quite sure I must try:
