I wear flip flops pretty much all summer long. I tend to get really, really hot (partially because of warm weather and partially due to hot flashes).  I really like wearing shoes and having my feet covered up, so I am one happy girl when the sunshine and Spring arrive. It means I get to break out my “fun” shoes – flip flops!

I was sent a really, really cute pair of flip fops from Girl Two Doors Down (GTDD), and I am so excited to tell you about them. Actually I was asked to choose which pair I wanted and I chose the Black Five Link Circle flip flops. You see, I have a really high arches in my feet and unfortunately I cannot wear flat flip flops. I was delighted to see that GTDD has a huge assortment, and quite a few with wedge heels – SCORE! The pair I chose (naturally) has a heel/platform.

When they arrived I was delighted when I pulled them out of the cute packaging (the package felt so personalized, like the company was just as happy as I was about their flip flops). I “ooohed” and “ahhhed” when I spotted the little circles with small crystals in them. These will be perfect for dressing up an otherwise boring summer outfit. They are also available in Blue and Gray.

Make no mistake, though. It was REALLY hard to decide on a pair of flip flops, as they were all so cute. GTDD has a really fun site, that is bound to get you excited for the warmer weather too. You might choose to shop from the “Classics” tab or the “Spring 2012” tab (or even Bridal!), and you will discover adorable flip flops in a variety of colors and styles. The only hard part will be choosing which pair to order!

How about comfort?  I am pleased to tell you that they are very comfortable (this is a biggie to me).  There is more to consider than just looking cute – I need something that will allow my feet to be as happy with the comfort as I am with the look.
