Giveaway: Set of 3 Touchdown Football Serving Bowls & Frito Lay Scoops!

Fritos Scoops wants to know if you are ready for Superbowl?  I have to admit that I am a little sad that the 49er’s didn’t make it, I still get excited for the big day.  I have such fond memories of Superbowl parties with my parents (my dad always loved doing a football pool!), and even now, there is something warm and cozy about getting together with friends and family, starting a roaring fire in the fireplace and snuggling in for a day of fun and laughs (and screaming as everyone roots for their team).

No Superbowl party would be complete, though, without tasty snacks!  We all have our favorite appetizers for parties, but Fritos has some fabulous ideas if you are looking for something new to bring (or serve) to this year’s Superbowl party.

How about Tuscan White Bean Dip?  Just reading this recipe makes my mouth water, and I cannot wait to make it.  I have posted the recipe below, in case you would like to try it as well.

1 can white kidney beans, drained
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 large garlic clove, peeled
1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
2 teaspoons dried thyme
2 teaspoons dried rosemary
1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel

Combine all ingredients, except basil and grated lemon peel, in blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Transfer to a bowl, add salt and pepper to taste and garnish with fresh basil and grated lemon peel. Serve immediately with Fritos® Scoops!® Corn Chips.

I love the idea of corn chips that scoop (mmm more tasty dip with every bite), and Fritos is a brand that has been at every Superbowl party that I can remember.  When I was a kid, we had to carefully balance a big dollop of dip on each chip, but times have changed, and Fritos certainly had an excellent idea when they created Fritos Scoops corn chips!

You might also like to try this yummy looking Simple Mango Salsa recipe, or perhaps Avocado Hummus, which is kind of a neat twist on traditional guacamole. There is a great variety of dip recipes on the Frito Lay site – make sure you check them out. Whichever recipe you choose, make sure you stock up on Fritos Scoops, so you can get more dip in each bite!

  3. Well since I am a giants fan I’m rooting for them, it’s crazy that lits against the patriots once again I remember 4 years ago I was 9 months pregnant jumping up and down when they won, hope they can pull it off again this time!

  78. Go Patriots~! Big Football Fanatics Here~! The game Sunday night had us on the edge of our seats lol NY Giants No Way!!!! Football has been a big part of our lives because my oldest son played all through school until he Graduated. We are having a Super Bowl Party this year and these bowls would be perfect~!
