I can tell you from personal experience {last year at BlogHer in NYC}, that your feet will hurt.  They just will.  I learned this the hard way, when I pretty much bought only “cute” shoes.  I’m not just talking about heels either – shoes that you thought were comfortable?  Not so much when you are walking miles and miles through the convention center, the hotel, and while you are out and about with friends discovering the city.
