I previously posted a Good Skin Labs Tri-Aktilene Deep Wrinkle Filler review, as well as a review for a youth-boosting moisturizer – both of which I still love and use.  I thought before you read the review from Daenel below, I would give you an update on my experiences!  I use these every single night, and I have noticed a big difference.  Since I am a little older that Daenel, I have some deep wrinkles on my chest, which I am really embarrassed by.  I have noticed that these have decreased – quite a bit!  I also use the Extend-10 Youth Boosting Moisturizer every night and I am in love with it still.  My face feels so smooth, and my complexion has changed – for the better.  I would feel completely lost without these products – seriously.

Now, on to Danael’s review:

Thirty-seven.  This has been a rough age for me.  Fine lines across my forehead, little crinklies around my eyes and gray hairs, it has all happened in the last year.  Honest to goodness, my day time and night time routines involve more steps than an episode of Dancing with the Stars.  I have a lot of stuff I need to

wrinkle cream, getting rid of deep wrinkles, fix before I hit the big four-oh.  Right now I’m starting with my skin…

About a week ago I received a sample of  Good Skin Labs Tri-Aktiline™ Instant Deep Wrinkle Filler in the mail and I couldn’t wait to start dabbing it on my forehead and around my eyes. I turn thirty-eight next month, I’m working on borrowed time here. Tri-Aktiline™ is an “instant deep wrinkle filler” that promises visible results within 4 to 6 weeks.  The active ingredients in Tri-Aktiline™ are:

  • Gatuline® – tropical plant extract that evens the skin tone
  • Kombuchka PH™ – product of the fermentation of black tea used to smooth the skin
  • Argireline Complex® – acts as “filler” to smooth out the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

Although the box states that 68% of the users noticed instant results, I am not one of the 68%.  I’m going into my second week of using the product and have yet to see any noticeable differences in the appearance of fine lines across my forehead.  I will continue using Tri-Aktiline™ to see if the lines on my forehead and around my eyes diminish.  Mind you, I’m not expecting the results that you’d get from surgery or injections but I’d like to see a little bit of smoothing across the forehead.  The box further states that 83% of subjects “demonstrated improvement in the appearance of lines” within 4 weeks.  Perhaps I’ll fall into the second group.

Pros:

  • The product is fragrance free so if you have allergies there’s no need to worry about that
  • Can be worn under makeup and can be touched up throughout the day
  • Independent website reviews were positive

Cons:

  • Doesn’t work on contact so not good if you’re looking for instant results
  • There isn’t a lot of information/instruction provided with the product
  • Product doesn’t state whether or not it’s hypoallergenic
  • No reviews on the Kohl’s website
  • A tad bit pricey

Good Skin Labs Tri-Aktiline™ is sold exclusively at Kohl’s retail store for $39.50 for a 1 fl oz tube. I also found the product on Amazon.com from $22.99 to $59.67.
