I may not be the greenest gal in the garden, but in the past couple of years I’ve come a long way. I’m always on the look out for natural products to use in our home. Especially with baby #2 expected to join our family this September, it’s nice to find a site where I can shop for a plethora of earth-friendly products for my family. Even better? This one hails from my home state of Washington!
GreenCupboards lets you shop by the eco-trait that is most important to you; BPA free, cruelty free, fair trade, organic, handmade, kosher, and many more. This gives you control of your time and takes the guess work out of your shopping.
Struck by the lack of one-stop shopping alternatives for eco-friendly merchandise, the co-founders set out to create a customer-centric brand and streamline the way people buy green. Greencupboards targets consumers who strive to do the right things to sustain the planet, yet are challenged to find a broad selection of eco-friendly products that work and cost about the same as a their non-green counterparts.
The folks at GreenCupboards sent me a couple items to check out recently. The first being Burt’s Bees After Sun Soother. I’ve already gotten plenty of use out of this hydrating soother since it is summertime. Despite being diligent with sunblock, my fair skin turns pink easily. Packed with both aloe and linden extracts as well as coconut oil for moisturizing, this is a welcome relief after getting too much sun. I love its simple scent and that the soother is also free of parabens and phthalates!
The second product is something I’ll get plenty of use out of once the baby is here. A Bamboo Swaddle set from aden + anais! Made with super soft and breathable bamboo muslin, these swaddling blankets will feel so nice on the baby’s delicate skin. They measure 47″x47″. I can use them for other purposes, like tummy time, and once baby is beyond the swaddling age they will be a comfy travel blanket. I love the coordinating designs, though I should note the particular design I received is no longer available. GreenCupboards has other equally beautiful aden + anais swaddling blankets though.
I’m so glad to have been introduced to GreenCupboards. The product selection is outstanding. Whether you are on the prowl for another green site to stalk or looking to dabble in the eco-friendly product realm, look no further than GreenCupboards!
Feel free to connect with GreenCupboards on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date with eco-friendly products and specials!

I didn’t know about Green Cupboard. Pretty cool that you can search by eco-trait. Love that!
