We did a lot of traveling this summer. We played in pools, beaches with sand, beaches without sand, and in backyards. In addition to the sunscreen, life vests, goggles, pool toys, and buckets we also brought the HABA 9 Piece Big Sand Breakfast.
The HABA 9 Piece Big Sand Breakfast fit in my pool bag easily and even with just a few pieces my girls all had a blast! While a few were making castles with their buckets the baby would be making breakfast for them to enjoy after all their hard work. One thing that you realize when you go to a beach is that you are never too old to play around in the sand. While in Daytona I got right down with them and played and we made all sorts of fun creations with the random shells we found. Sand toast with seashells on top is so much more tasty than plain, I can attest to that!

You don’t have to travel to have fun with HABA sand toys though. Bring them into your backyard (or front depending) and make your own story. Have an adventure and make those special memories with your little ones. HABA toys are made with the highest quality materials and will stand the test of time! Be certain when you make a HABA purchase that the toy will not fall apart on your family.

Collect all of the fun food prep HABA sand toys and you will have a smorgasbord right in your child’s sandbox. Imagine what the tots could whip up with the Sun Bistro Sand Kitchen Utensils, Fried Egg Fry-up, the Sand-water Measuring Jug, and the Big Sand Breakfast set. That right there is a few hours of fun. In my world with an 8, 6, and 4 year old that is a few hours to clean without little people “helping” me. They typically don’t fight when they are in our sandbox either, BONUS!
Summer is not the only time we pull out these kinds of toys. Fall we are still able to play easily outside and I imagine the kids would have a blast playing in the snow on our deck with them as well. It doesn’t typically snow where we live but I remember growing up in Wisconsin (brrr) and playing outside with my toys. Or, bring them in. Almost everyone has a play kitchen and all the HABA sand toys could easily transition to indoor toys when the weather is bad.

When I think about HABA I think about wooden pull toys like the one above. But the company makes so much more than that. One thing that I know is HABA is educational, encourages pretend play, and is high quality.
I always wished I would have purchased a really nice set of wooden blocks. I see the girls play with the ones that I had handed down to me and they are great but a set like the HABA Pyramid Block set is just plain cool! It is never too late and there is always Christmas!
HABA also has a nice line of age appropriate games for the kids. Our family loves word games and the Letter Dice Mini Game would pack up easily to go on the road when we travel. Like in October, when we pack up our sand toys and go to the beach (ha, again).
I encourage each of you to spend some time on HABA‘s website. It is packed full of perfect gifts for all age groups and budgets. With the holidays around the corner you will want to start making your lists and I will say it once again you will not be disappointed in your HABA purchase and neither will the recipient of the gift.
