When my children were infants, I was one petrified mother.  Not only was I afraid when they sniffled, starting eating solid foods, etc., but I was terrified of SIDS.  I spent many sleepless nights just leaning over the bassinet and crib, watching my babies sleep.  My son is six years older than my daughter, and when he was an infant, stomach sleeping was recommended.  He slept really good!  By the time my daughter arrived, the recommendation for safe sleeping was to have the baby on their side or back.  It seemed unnatural to me for some reason, and she never was comfortable this way.  The recommendations seem to change every few years, but there is one product that I sure wish I had when my kids were babies – HALO SleepSack – the original wearable blanket.

I had no idea such a product existed!  I am a little out of the baby loop, since my youngest is now 14-years old, but I know I would have loved one (or several!) HALO SleepSacks when my wee ones were…well… wee!  I think these would make an excellent baby shower gift!  As a matter-of-face, HALOpreventing SIDS, wearable baby blanketsrecently polled its Facebook community to find out the top gifts received at baby showers.
