Harvard Sweet Boutique

A little bit of heaven in a brightly covered box….that was my first thought when I received a gorgeous box of yumminess from Harvard Sweet Boutique.  With Valentine’s Day just around the corner (as well as my birthday the day before!), it is wonderful to discover a place that delivers goodies that are not only tasty, but that arrive beautifully packaged.

My daughter and I hated to open the box, as it was just so pretty, but we were also very eager to see what was inside. Needless to say, we were delighted with what we saw. We squealed even. We pulled each cookie and brownie out and marveled at how good they looked.

Harvard Sweet Boutique has the TASTIEST goodies! I received a cute Valentine’s Day themed box with cookies and brownie bars.  Are you drooling yet?   Each goodie was individually wrapped for freshness (in biodegradable cellophane bags – love this!), and fresh they were!  I have received several baked goods in my blogging career, and my 16-year old daughter actually said to me, “This is my favorite food item you have ever received”.  Now THAT is a compliment, as I have tried plenty of  “to-die-for” treats.

I do quite a bit of baking myself, and I always use quality ingredients. I don’t mind paying a little bit more for these ingredients, as it makes such a big difference in the way baked goods taste. The quality of the ingredients in the Harvard Sweet Boutique cookies and brownies was evident.

Each cookie gift is made fresh to order. Our cookies are scooped by hand from dough made with generous amounts of dark and white high cocoa butter chocolate chunks, giant pieces of toffee, fresh AA butter, sulfite-free dried fruits, kosher salt, and toasted oats and nuts. They’re made without preservatives, trans fats, commercial oils, artificial flavors or color.

Look at this! If you think this Vanilla Sea Salt Caramel Brownie looks decadent, you should taste it! This may have even been made especially for me, as I am crazy about sea salt/chocolate/caramel combos. When I saw the sea salt on top, I was soooo happy (just ask my daughter!). She wanted to split it with me, but I could only bear to let go of a tiny piece for her to try. Don’t worry, she was kind of stingy with some of the other treats. It all evened out 🙂

Other brownie/bar flavors include: Chocolate Fudge, Mint Chocolate Fudge, Peanut Butter, Raspberry Chocolate Fudge, Chocolate Glazed Macadamia Caramel Shortbread, Peanut Butter & Peanut Butter Snack brownies, Espresso Chocolate Brownies, Chili Chocolate Brownies (I’m intrigued by this!), Raspberry Cream Cheese Swirl, Orange Hazelnut and Macadamia Coconut Blondies.

I wish I could tell you the names of all of the cookies I received, but honestly, we were so busy enjoying them, that we didn’t pay much attention.  I can tell you, however, the names of a few that are sure to grab your attention.   Cookies: Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Toffee, Cinnamon-Sugar Snickerdoodle, Coconut (my husband really liked this one), Ginger Molasses (omg, this was delicious), Buttercrunch, Oatmeal Raisin, M & M, White Chocolate Cranberry Oatmeal, Coconut Chocolate Chip and White Chocolate Macadamia Nut.  Oh my.

In addition to cookies and brownies, I received some really delicious toffee – it was rich, buttery and really hard to put down!

Whether you are looking for Valentine’s Day gifts, birthday gifts, or anything in between you can find something for everyone on your list at Harvard Sweet Boutique. They have different boxes for the different occasions, and they are simply beautiful.  You can even build your own box, if desired. I love this option.

Their website is so easy to shop on, as it is broken down by price, product, occasion, etc. My only problem while browsing the Harvard Sweet Boutique website was that I desperately wanted to try one of everything!
