There are special people in the lives of children – people that dedicate themselves completely to help and teach children, as well as make sure they have fun. Little League coaches fit right into this category – they work tirelessly and give up their own time just for the kids.

Hilton Honors wants to honor these special people and they are holding a fun Contest and Sweepstakes, which recognizes and rewards outstanding Little League coaches around the country. Through June 13th, you can nominate your favorite coach (you might even win too!). Entering is really quick and simple, and can be done on the Hilton HHonors Facebook Page.

My son played softball for two seasons when he was a little guy, and it really helped to build confidence and learn discipline. I remember the coaches being at every single practice and game (no matter what the weather). My two nephews were very active in Little League, and I was always impressed at how hard they worked and how dedicated they were to the game. I do believe that a big part of this is due to the coaching they received throughout the years.

  3. I love little league because it brings kids together as a team and gets them so excited about any little hit, slide, catch, and pitch. We have been involved for over 20 years now and still going strong…have two still in and now grandkids starting. It’s just a fun time cheering in the stands and my best moments are when you get that little smirk from the kids after a great play. PLUS, the hot dogs taste better at these games than at the MLB games;)

  4. I like Little League because it’s an organization that teaches sportsmanship and builds character and skill. Thanks.
