Have you ever really taken a look at what is in the water you drink everyday? It’s not pretty…not at all. I never drink water straight from the tap – I know there are so many pollutants and other undesirable things in the water, that I just cannot drink it. I usually drink bottled water, though I don’t really know how safe that is either.

I have been wanting a system like this for so long, and I was absolutely thrilled when I got the offer to review it. The system is so incredibly easy to use – I was pleasantly surprised. It plugs right into an outlet and has a retractable cord. It does not take up much space on the counter either, which I really love. The pitcher is so easy to keep filled and on hand for use at any time. Restore comes with a filter that lasts about 2-4 months, depending on daily use. The Restore replacement filter is only $7.99. I think that is a wonderful price…especially if you take into consideration the cost of buying bottled water!
Set up was easy – I rinsed the filter per the instructions and placed it in the reservoir. There are two settings on the pitcher – “fill” and “purify”. I set the pitcher to “fill” and filled the reservoir to the fill line. I switched it to “purify” and after a minute or so, I had clean, pure water! I loved the taste…I don’t know how else to describe it but “clean”. It feels so good knowing I am making my family’s drinking water safe. I have also started using this water for my cats. Yes – they, too, have clean water! I store the pitcher in my refrigerator. It is so convenient. The Restore pitcher is not dishwasher safe, but that is okay – it is really simple to clean once a month by wiping it with vinegar. I am absolutely thrilled with the Restore Clean Water System!
If you are wanting to test your water quality you can have someone come out and send it into the lab or you can look up your zip code water supply to see what is in your water. You might be surprised at what you find! Using a filter is so much better for your health. Just make sure you add back in some minerals into the water so that you are still getting all the good stuff that your body needs to thrive each day.
