Hoodini 3D knit baby swaddle sleep sack

Every now and then a product comes along that makes me think 1 of 2 things:
Why didn’t I think of that?
Why does all the cool baby stuff come along now that my children are too old to need them?

It might be too late for me to take advantage of this genius product {at least until I have grandchildren!}, but you are in luck if you have a baby up to 6 months old. This amazing product I am talking about is the Hoodini 3D Knit Baby Swaddle Sleep Sack, and it can possibly be life changing.

I still remember so vividly how exhausted I was when my daughter was a baby (and up to 4 years old really). My child never slept, and it really took a toll on my husband and I. Fortunately for him, on his work nights, I dealt with our daughter so he could try to get some shut eye. Me on the other hand, didn’t have an escape. I was at my wit’s end.

We tried everything in the book to get our daughter to sleep, but to no avail. People think I am exaggerating when I tell them that she literally only took two or three 20 minute naps per day. I don’t know how she kept going, because I could barely function. I WAS EXHAUSTED! I kept thinking that she would eventually have to pass out, but not necessarily so. The only time she took longer naps was on my husband’s day off. Once she settled on his chest in the recliner, she would crash for 2 hours or so. Naturally, I really looked forward to these times to either take a nap myself, or clean, or shop, or whatever. Just to have a break was dreamy.

One of the reasons we had so much trouble getting her to sleep is that back-sleeping was the recommendation at the time. The problem with this was that she did not like being on her back, and she also didn’t like to be swaddled. So several times during the night, her arms would hit the side of her bassinet and wake her up. This is where the Hoodini could have made a huge difference in our lives.

The Hoodini™ product is a seamless one piece baby swaddle. This 3D knit baby swaddle is escape proof, engineered with arm tubes to keep arms down and hug technology giving the sensation of a hug all night long thereby providing maximum sleep for both baby and Mommy.

The Hoodini is made right here in the great old USA {love this!}. The creator of this product, Liz, suffered in much the same way that I did, and that’s when the Hoodini was born. I think she nailed it with this swaddler and these are going to make new moms pretty darned happy!

What is neat {and different} about the Hoodini is that it has “arm tubes” to not only keep baby’s arms and hands from flinging around during the night, but they feel like a hug to baby. How comforting is that for a baby?

I completely believe in this product, and if you or someone you know has trouble getting baby to sleep {and keeping them asleep}, I hope you will let them know about the Hoodini.

Currently there is a kickstarter campaign going on for the Hoodini, and your help is needed! The campaign ends on June 1st, so we cannot hesitate! It would be awesome  to see this product succeed, and it can really make a difference in how mom and dad feel, and how baby {and the whole household!} sleeps.

Any donation amount is appreciated, but when you donate $48 or more you will get a Hoodini size 3-6 months in September! When you donate $82 or more you will receive 2 Hoodinis – one in each size. Donate $164 or more and you’ll receive FOUR Hoodini sleep sacks – two in each size! There are other tiers as well, and I encourage you to have a look! I have never seen anything quite like the Hoodini 3D knit baby swaddle sleep sack before, so I want to help spread the word on this Hoodini Kickstarter campaign. 1. This is genius!! I love that it’s all one piece and has hug technology! I would keep it for myself for our next baby!

  2. I would love to win this for my new grandchild, due in November. This family already has a 2 year old who doesn’t sleep well. It would be great if the new baby did!

  3. My preemie grandson will be comin home from NICU in less than a month. I think this would be wonderful for him and allow him and his exhausted mother time to sleep! One of my granddaughters was a preemie and she struggled for over a year to get a full night sleep. This looks so great! I’d love to give it to my daughter and her son!!
