If It Does Not Grow, Say No Eatable Activities

Disclosure Giveaway
Oh how I wish that I didn’t have to struggle with my daughter when she was little. She basically refused to eat most fruits and vegetables and it was a battle every day. If only a certain book had been available then, it would have made our lives so much easier.

Kids respond to fun, and when you can combine fun and healthy, that is a beautiful thing. That is why I am really impressed with the edible activity book, “If It Does Not Grow, Say No”. It is simply genius!

if it does not grow say no book

If It Does Not Grow – Just Say No Eatable Activities for Kids Book was created for children of all ages to discover how much fun they can have with fruits and vegetables. They will be entertained for hours as they:
~draw and write about their favorite foods
~learn why fruits and vegetables are so awesome
~try easy recipes for fun foods
~see how brave they are about trying new fruits and veggies
~make food art and more!

Here is a sample page which shows what you will find in the book:

if it does not grow say no
This is such a fun food adventure! Whether you help your kids, ask a friend to join them, or they choose to do activities by themselves, kids are sure to have a blast. Your fruit and veggie supply might become very popular, so make sure you keep plenty on hand!

I love that they can explain why or why they don’t like a certain vegetable. It just might be easier for kids to express themselves this way, than trying to explain in words, to mom or dad. I believe that they will be excited to try new veggies and fruits, when they can look forward to an activity to go with it. Normally, getting kids to try veggies can be a tricky situation.

This is the optional cube that you can purchase as well:

Make sure you head to the If It Does Not Grow, Say No website, where you will find some really fun downloadable activities.

If you have a picky eater, I highly encourage you to check out, “If It Does Not Grow, Say No“. It just might change your life! Make sure you enter to win below as well!

Children mostly do not like veggies. Carrot sticks and Ranch dressing are a favorite. They also like peanut butter on celery sticks.

I am happy to say I don’t have any struggles. My 8 year old loves and has always loved veggies.

To be completely truthful, my oldest son eats veggies no problem. My youngest son who is Autistic does not eat any veggies. Fruits are no problem but veggies no way. I used to garden and he would eat directly from our garden during those summer months. Nothing frozen, from cans, or from store shelves. I am putting a veggie garden in again this year and we have been exploring other local farms to table options also where he has direct contact with the veggies. Without this important direct contact, I think this may the biggest missing piece for him to explore and again eat directly fresh veggies. He chooses freshest fruits also. As a 9 year old, he is letting me know that he Does know what is best to put in his own body.

My son is not interested in trying new vegetables. He eats carrots and broccoli.

My son loves fruits but does not want anything to do with veggies. I tend to sneak them into his dinners.

It is hard to get the kids to eat veggies. We just keep trying and they keep being stubborn.

The issue is with trying new things, especially if it smells or looks unappetizing.
