You know what’s great about breakfast? It’s like early morning dessert for me. If I’m getting the treats I want, anyway! IHOP has several new signature pancakes available for summertime and I was ecstatic to get the chance to review them for my favorite ever breakfast restaurant!
Now let me tell you, the choice was tough. The IHOP Raspberry Peach Pancakes were topped with peaches and a raspberry sauce, just looking at the picture I could taste those peaches. The Blueberry Cannoli Cream Pancakes with blueberry compote and sweetened Ricotta looked tasty also, but in the end I had to go with the Strawberry Banana Cream Pie Pancakes because I’m a huge sucker for bananas. You can get four pancakes or order them as a combo so I, of course, opted for the Ultimate Bacon & Sausage Combo which also includes eggs and hash browns.
As I was chowing down on the eggs, which for some reason I was really in the mood for, the kids swiped my pancakes out from under me and went to town. Then somehow, my plate got passed to my husband who I swear doesn’t even like bananas, and he gave me a few forkfuls of my delicious IHOP Strawberry Banana Cream Pie Pancakes. I was in love. I told him, “Oh man, that is amazing!” He smirked and I looked down at the plate, he’d practically licked it clean! He offered me one of the lone strawberries that had made it through all of his gobbling!
In short, my whole family loved the Strawberry Banana Cream Pie Pancakes and I’m sure I’ll be back for more. This time I won’t be sharing!

The Strawberry Banana Cream Pie Pancakes from IHOP remind me to eat more fruit. It’s a good combo of flavors that are good for summer. It also recalls the cake my mom has made twice this year for celebrations – Boston Cream Pie.
This sounds amazing and one I will have to try next time I am at IHOP.

I like fruit on pancakes, but I don’t like fruit flavored syrup.

I would love these if it weren’t for the banana. I love their Strawberry Belgian Waffles, I think it is the only thing I have ever ordered from Ihop
I usually just get plain pancakes at IHOP but the Raspberry Peach pancakes sounds yummy. I am thinking a trip to IHOP maybe next week!
