Bahlsen Cookies

bahlsen cookies
There is nothing I love more than a tasty cookie. All cookies are not created equal, however. A good cookie is made using quality ingredients, and ideally, all natural ingredients. There is such a difference in cookies – some taste “cheap” (for lack of a better word), and it is apparent with the first bite that quality ingredients were not used. Blech.

Have you heard of Bahlsen Cookies? I was recently introduced to them and oh my…

Bahlsen Cookies are made with the finest high quality ingredients. I could definitely tell this when I took my first few bites of the goodies that were sent to me. The chocolate is amazing – smooth and rich, and each item tasted fresh, fresh, fresh.

What are Bahlsen Cookies lacking (only bad things!)?

Hydrogenated oils, zero trans fats, added preservatives, artificial flavors/colors. You won’t find these in Bahlsen cookies. Thank you, Bahlsen!

Yummy Bahlsen cookies come in an assortment of varieties. For chocolate lovers (i.e. me), the Waffeletten, Choco Leibniz, First Class, and others, will definitely hit the spot with your chocolate cravings.

There are also fruit flavors, including my favorites blueberry and strawberry. The Blueberry Deloba is so light and crispy, and they kind of melt in your mouth. They remind me a little of Elephant Ears, but with a fruit filling.

I received three varieties to try: Blueberry Delobas, Waffelettens and Waffel Minis. It is really hard to choose a favorite, and since I don’t have to, I won’t. I like them all for different reasons, and each type has a flavor and texture of its own. Each type is mouth-watering.

You might also enjoy the new Bahlsen Minis (which are available in Waffeletten and Choco Leibniz). I can totally see myself with some of these tasty treats, a big mug of hot cocoa, a blanket and snuggle time on the couch. I might even share with my husband! These sound just right for those days and nights when you just need a little something sweet, without going overboard.

I will definitely be keeping Bahlsen cookies on hand for drop-in guests, or planned parties. Oh, who am I kidding, I will be keeping them on hand for me mostly. But seriously, these treats will definitely impress my guests, and I will be proud to serve them!
