Sometimes in the afternoons on hot summer California days, I crave coffee, but don’t necessarily want a steaming cup of coffee. Â Instead I want something cool and refreshing. Â Something that can give me that afternoon pick-me-up. Â I have tried several International Delight products in the past, but had NO IDEA that they made iced coffee in a carton, until I was sent three different cartons to try out.
When these arrived, I was so excited. Â Not only because I would finally get to try them, but because the International Delight Iced Coffee came in attractive easy-pour cartons. They are pre-made, so all I have to do is pour over ice (or even without the ice). Â It doesn’t get much easier than that!
My son (he is 21) was here when they arrived and was as excited as I was. Â He is a big coffee drinker, and loves a variety. Â We received the International Delight Iced Coffee in the following flavors: Original, Mocha and Vanilla.
We did a little taste test to see which one we each liked the most and least. Â My favorite was the original. Â I like all of the flavors, but Vanilla isn’t my favorite in coffee. Â The Mocha was a close second – I love the flavor of coffee and chocolate together! Â My son’s favorite was the Mocha, then the Vanilla, followed by the Original.
As I enjoyed my first International Delight Iced Coffee, I took a minute to read the back of the carton.  It was fun to learn about the quality coffee that is used as well as the fresh, real ingredients.  They aren’t kidding when they say it is “Sweet & Creamy”. No wonder it tastes so good!
I have a feeling that these will be a staple in our refrigerator, all year long. I was even thinking about making a special treat during the summer. I am going to freeze a carton of International Delight Iced Coffee, and then putting the contents in a blender and “whirring” for a minute or so. I will pour it in a tall glass and add a dollop of whipped cream for the perfect summertime treat!
Hopefully International Delight will come out with even more flavors too. I’m not sure I’ll have room in my refrigerator for them all, but I’ll certainly try. I think a White Chocolate Mocha would be amazing 🙂
Make sure you keep an eye out for these at your grocery store – they will be available in your Walmart store (dairy section) on January 15th! They are so good, and so easy. I am definitely in love with this iced coffee! Follow #CBias and #IcedCoffee on Twitter to find out more!
