I was sent an email with the following observations, and I laughed so hard and agreed with every point that was made. I couldn’t resist sharing with you. I’m sure you can relate to at least some of these! I especially love #4, #7, #8, #16. Which are your favorites?
1. I think part of a best friend’s job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die.
2. Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you’re wrong.
3. I totally take back all those times I didn’t want to nap when I was younger.
4. There is great need for a sarcasm font.
5. How the hell are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?
6. Was learning cursive really necessary?
7. Map Quest really needs to start their directions on # 5. I’m pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.
8. I can’t remember the last time I wasn’t at least kind of tired.
9. Bad decisions make good stories.
10. You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren’t going to do anything productive for the rest of the day.
11. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don’t want to have to restart my collection…again.
12. I’m always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten-page technical report that I swear I did not make any changes to.
13. I keep some people’s phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call.
14. I wish Google Maps had an “Avoid Ghetto” routing option.
15. I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger.
16. How many times is it appropriate to say “What?” before you just nod and smile because you still didn’t hear or understand a word they said?
17. Sometimes I’ll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is.
18. Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys in a pocket, finding their cell phone, and Pinning the Tail on the Donkey – but I’d bet everyone can find and push the snooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, first time, every time!

LOL Love it. I really don’t want to switch our collection even to Blu-ray. I think it’s silly, they should stick with one thing and just make dvds better, not switch the format. Hmmph. 😀
Amiko
Lol… No. 3 definitely I do that!
Mimi
That is awesome! My favorites are: 1, 2, and 7. Oh, and uh, 13 does come in to play occasionally.
Sandra
I cannot be expected to pick only one! I’m sure more than half the list applies to me, especially the one about not remembering the time I didn’t feel tired…
Great blog header by the way!
Aleksandra
OK my favorites are 3, 5 and 12 🙂

I think Sarcasm font, should be all the other fonts mixed up so your first letter in a word may be one font style, the next another font style in a larger type, then the third another in a smaller type and so on and so forth.
In fact being sarcastic in this manner will automatically make you politically correct. How you ask? Well, no font style could say it wasn’t given equal time to make your sarcastic remark come across on the internet. No font would need ever sue you. So go away internet lawyers, you’re not going to get a retainer on this one.

So many fit me so well, esp 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 16, & 17.
Lydia
These are fantastic, I just sent them to my friends!
Tamara B.
TOO funny ……. I so can relate to #5, they are a pain in the rear to fold!
Yakini
Hahaha! I was cracking up at #s 10, 2, 1, 3, and 12! Hysterical!
Tiffany
So funny. I agree with cursive. WHO came up with that?
Hannah
I soo agree with 11 and 12! I mean, its true that blu-ray is better than dvd, but seriously, updating collections every time gets pretty expensive!
And Word can be scary when you have that split second of wondering if everything is going to be wiped out!
katie m
7 and 16 are my favorite!
Shannon
Totally relate to #3 and #5, well my MIL should do a how to video for sure!

Ok that wasn’t you alone. I laughed until I couldn’t swallow my own spit! lol Because I’ve done a few, thought the same. Ahh sigh.
Thanks.

I so totally agree with all of them too – funny as hell! My favorites are:
#4 (we SO totally need a sarcasm font!)
#5 How the hell are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet? (if someone has the answer to this PLEASE tell me!)
#9 Bad decisions make good stories (LOL – my blog is a testimony to that fact!!!!!)
#11 I still haven’t figured out the difference between a DVD and BlueRay. Maybe because I’ve never seen a Blue Ray to my knowledge!
#12 – I always have heart failure when my computer asks me to confirm something I didn’t do!
#15 – This one is the ALL TIME favorite! I thought boredom and hunger were one and the same?
#16 – Answer: Twice. The Man Thing constantly yells something from the living room when I’m in the bedroom and cannot hear a flippin word he says. After two “What?” being yelled back, I just yell, “Okay!” and it works every time.

ROFL!!

OMG I love this! I seriously need the sarcasm font – would have saved me from a lot of awkward email replies!

LOL how true!

Cant fold a fitted sheet for the life of me…and cant hear.
True story…was nonchalantly listening to TV one night (trying to figure out the boredom and hunger thingy) and heard a commercial for KEY LIME PIE . Boy did I perk up and was all ears. Til I realized they said FELINE PINE…CAT litter! The eyes, the ears, memory and next the mind. Oh how funny sometimes these stories that show our age.
Umm…better keep the early Mapquest steps…just in case. LOL!
Amanda @MommyMandy
LOVE it!!!!

#4 for sure, but #6?
Cursive unnecessary? But what would we do on all those forms that say “Please write in cursive”?
