Jambu ‘Cherry’ Shoes Review

{CLOSED}

Fall is finally here! The leaves are changing colors, the weather is changing and it is time to pull out the perfect pair of shoes for Fall. I have reviewed Jambu Footware in the past, and I am so glad to help them showcase their fall line of eco-friendly shoes. You may have read my previous Jambu shoe review, in which I raved about the wonderful selection of shoes made from partially recycled materials. Every time I wear that pair of shoes, I am not only comfortable, but I know I am doing my part to help our planet.

The Evolution of Jambu
Inspired by the beauty and mystique of the rainforest, Jambu™ Footwear is designed to guide you in style and comfort on your next personal journey – at home or across the globe. Let Jambu™ join you as you zip line through the rainforest, stroll the beach, navigate the city, or travel the world. Be you with Jambu™. JAMBU™ uses only 100% recycled, recyclable and re-usable packaging. Jambu™ outsoles are made with partially recycled and re-usable compressed rubber. In this small way we hope to preserve our great outdoors for future generations. Renew with Jambu™.

I was asked to choose a pair of shoes from Jambu for this review, and once again I had a really hard time deciding on the perfect pair and color. After much browsing, I made my selection and anxiously awaited their arrival. I chose the Jambu ‘Cherry’ shoes in Brown from the All-Terra Collection.

These are actually even more comfortable than the  previous pair I reviewed, as I ordered a 1/2 size bigger. My feet swell sometimes, and I am trying to order all shoes a tad bit bigger.  These fit perfectly.  The velcro strap makes it really easy to adjust if they are too tight or too loose.  My feet feel safe and enclosed and they are “squishy” {in a good way!} when I walk in them.  They envelop my feet.  The really neat thing is that if I wanted to walk over rough terrain, these shoes could definitely handle it – traction won’t be a problem.

The construction of the shoe is very impressive. The design, stitching and construction are all top notch. I know I will be wearing these a lot this fall, as the weather here is still warm, but the nights are chilly. It is nice to have a shoe that isn’t all the way closed, but not a flip-flop or sandal either. It right in between!  There are three colors to choose from: Black, Brown and a really pretty Red.

What makes Jambu shoes so special?
They are versatile: Unlike other outdoor brands, Jambu™ shoes are designed by women for women, therefore, details such as floral motifs, contrast stitching and materials keep Jambu a step ahead creating an outdoor fashion feel.

Comfort: With its Memory Foam™ Footbed, Jambu™ will cradle your foot and keep you comfortable all day.

Eco-Design: Because conserving our environment is important, Jambu™ shoes use partially recycled rubber outsoles, animal friendly materials available in Vegan collection, recycled and recyclable packaging.

Jambu has an extensive selection of eco-friendly shoes – from wedges, to really casual to a little more dressy.  They also have  kids shoes! Jambu shoes can be purchased at online retailers such as Dillard’s, Shoes.com, Piperlime and others.  The Jambu Cherry shoes I reviewed are currently available at Zappos for $99.00.

  1. Those boots are surprisingly comfortable! I have A LOT of high heels that I just grit my teeth and wear–those pretty boots, though, feel as comfy as my Ariat cowboy boots!

  2. I love a good shoe and it looks like Jambu has plenty to choose from. The sandals you reviewed are too cute for words and perfect for a Mom on the go. I chase around 2 kiddos and I need all the traction and covered-toe action I can get. 😉

And those boots? Oh, don’t get me started. I love ’em.

Thanks for sharing this great brand with us!

    1. You are most welcome! I know – the shoes are SO cute. I might have even gasped when I opened the box 🙂

  3. Those flat look SO comfy and those boots are adorable! I so wish I could wear heals more – if I am going to be sitting a lot and not walking at all, I can wear them sometimes.
Thanks for the info and the review…

  4. I went to the Jambu.com/ website and looked at all of the shoes and I really love the All Terrain “HIghland Brown”

    Black boots

  6. I have a favorites tie again, so either of these pairs in a 7 1/2 would be my pick , the Mumbai in Black or the Cali in Black.
I also really like a bunch of the other shoes and boots that they have listed and shown.

  7. I like the Himalayan brown or the Vermont waterproof gray. It’s a tossup.

  11. Gorgeous! I’d never heard of this company, but the detail is incredible. I’d choose the Sweden Black Sporty Wedge. Too cute!

  12. I love the Beacon boots in Black, been looking at boots for this coming winter, these are adorable

  13. If I was lucky enough to win, I think I would choose the black Storm shoe for myself or maybe the Casa in black for my daughter who really really needs shoes.

thank you for the wonderful giveaway!

  17. I like the Jamba shoes they look good and like ,maybe they are tough enough to go adventuring in.

  18. Now that we are in the fall season, I’m thinking about winter. My boots went to the big snow drift in the sky last year so I am in great need of a new pair of boots. The Storm-Waterproof fits the bill. Waterproof, stylish and comfortable. The taupe would be my color.

  19. I would choose the Grand Sporty Wedge shoes. They have a color that looks red so I would get that color.

  20. I would choose the Cosmic in Brown or the Cruise in Brown or the Colorado-Vegan in Brown if I won.

  21. I like Plum in brown in women’s size 7 1/2. These are good looking shoes! wgbc1446[at]yahoo[dot]com

  22. Its way to hard to choose just one, so my two faves are the Colorado-Vegan
Brown Boots and the cascade mary janes.
    Thanks

  23. Wow, I like them all! But, if I had to choose just one, I’d go for the Cali in black. It looks fashionable and comfy at the same time!

  24. It was hard to select one, but I think Brighton is my favorite. I also liked the cosmic, sweden and capri.

  25. I pretty much love the whole Sporty Wedge Collection – but I think my most favorite style is the Dublin. I would still have to flip a woing to decide between black and brown!

It is very rare these days of unspeakbly high, uncomfortable (and ugly) shoes OR flats that are flatter than cardboard for me to find shoes that are both flattering and comfy – but the Sport Edges at Jambu are just what I’ve been looking for!

  26. Tweeted, and trying to Like on FB, but fb is not working right now!! I only have a few minutes left to enter, hope I can get it in time!!

  27. If I won I would get the storm waterproof boots in black. They are really cute.

  28. Beacon Black are another pair I like, but i really like the Tyra boots.
