I have been waiting so long to see Twentieth Century Fox’s ‘Avatar’. Â I am probably one of the only people in the world who hasn’t seen it (my husband would be the 2nd person). Â My family and I sat down to watch it last night, and we were utterly fascinated. Â No wonder this movie won an Oscar and a Golden Globe award. Â The special effects were amazing, and there really are no words to describe the feeling this movie brings. Â To me, it seems like these days a really good movie is hard to come by. Â It was so refreshing to watch this and to be glued to a movie (this hasn’t happened in a REALLY long time for me!) James Cameron really is a talented director – and he has not let me down with Avatar.

Can you BELIEVE that I did NOT go to see this on the big screen?!?! Urggghhhh .. ALL of my children did, but not I! It's just not going to be the same on the small screen, but I'm definitely going to have to "suffer" through the deprivation 🙂
One of my sons saw the movie at the theater, but my husband and I weren't interested at the time…now, though, we are definitely curious to see it. You have convinced me we should head out and rent it! 🙂
I think I am the 3rd person who has never seen this movie. LOL. Maybe if I can pick it up at Redbox for a $1 I will watch it. Not sure it is my type of movie but for a $1 it wouldn't be a loss if I didn't like it. Thanks for sharing and hopefully I will enjoy the movie and much as you did.

My teen daughter was the only one in the family who has seen it…the other kids begged but never had the time. Now we can't wait to rent it,but as Jewelknits said…it probably wont be the same renting it:(

This is such an awesome movie… we have already bought it and watched it once. It's not quite as good as the 3-D in the theaters, but BluRay is pretty darn good!
