JOCO Cups are Cups That Care

If there is one thing I’m picky about, it’s drinkware.  I’m not a red solo cup kind-of-girl.  Nope, this is where Kim Zolciak Biermann and I differ.  I have an assortment of mugs for coffee and tea.  I have an assortment of glassware for iced beverages and an assortment for cocktails.  Even with my collection,  I think I may have found the most perfect glass ever.  Say hello to JOCO Cups.

JOCO
JOCO Cups are glass reusable coffee cups – except there is no need to limit yourself to coffee!  Originating in Austrialia, JOCO Cups is more than simply saving the landfills from those paper/plasic/syrofoam cups.  And for good reason, annually, 2.25 billion paper cups are used worldwide and those figures are rising rapidly each year.  Yikes.

JOCO Cups
It’s time to do something about it – that’s where JOCO Cups come in.  Made from borosilicate glass, it’s natural.  You’ll find no BPA or chemicals in your cup.  It’s a fresh taste for every cuppa.

JOCO Collage
Available in three sizes – 8oz, 12oz and 16oz, JOCO Cups are barista certified because they are modeled after the disposable coffee cup sizes.  Brilliant, no?  Perhaps my favorite feature?  The thermal silicone sleeve and anti splash lid that come in a variety of differerent colors.  I tried out Mint and Black.

JOCO Coffee
Both are very lovely.  They wash well and I’ve found it’s the best way to get a cuppa something hot in the morning and transport it to work.

This holiday season get into the spirit with festive drinks!  Make them naughty or nice…it’s up to you!  JOCO Cups provided a Chai Tea recipe that sounds delish.  Beautiful too, especially in the Mint JOCO Cup!

Chai Tea *recipe courtesy of JOCO Cups*

1 cup water
1 cup whole milk
1 Earl Grey tea bag
2 tablespoons honey
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cinnamon stick
3 whole cloves
Pinch cardamom
Pinch nutmeg
Pinch ginger

In a saucepan bring water to a boil. Add remaining ingredients and reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer gently for 3 minutes. Strain into 2 JOCO cups and top with a pinch of nutmeg. For a naughty addition, stir 1 ounce brandy into each cup.

The fun doesn’t stop there!  What creations can you come up with? Dulche de Leche or Peppermint Mocha?  Both look absolutely fantastic!  I think I need a cup in every color!

  1. I like the red but the mint is really pretty too, I just have mint colored walls in my house and need stuff for better contrast so I’ve gravitated towards other colors

  2. The lime. I’d never lose it. Plus, it would catch attention and I’d be answering alot of questions of WHAT IS THAT? 🙂
